Chastain's Salon & Spa in Pensacola, FL

I gave it two stars ONLY because I know there are some good stylists there. However my daughter's hair was ruined by JENNIFER HARRIS. My daughter is a brunette and went in for highlights. Jennifer turned it orange and refused to fix it and kept our $145! Not only did she refuse to fix it, but had the nerve to return my call and scream at me that my daughter and I were mentally disabled! This was the Friday before Easter, and she went to get it done so she would look nice for Easter. Fortunately she was able to get someone competent at another salon to fix it. Pictures don't lie. The picture of her with orange hair is by Jennifer Harris. The other is after the second stylist fixed it. My daughter's hair is damaged and still has a little orange in it, but it is much better than the way Jennifer Harris left it. I blocked her face for internet privacy. Run, don't walk away from an appointment with Jennifer Harris.

Alisa messed my hair up so bad !! Charged me $170 and when I asked her to fix it , she told me it would cost me $100 more dollars. I told her how unfair this was so she agreed to fix it for $70. I didn't however trust her to fix it. I called and asked if another color specialist would fix it which I would pay for, I was told the owner would call me back. Two weeks later, no call back :( very upsetting they only care about themselves

Always on time, always friendly and upbeat, always immaculately clean and neat. What more can you ask? My own stylist, Stacy Daughtery, is a pro.

While I know Chastain's does have some great stylist, my experience was not as such. I received the worst haircut of my life here. Think Florence Henderson meets Joe Dirt. What I asked for was long layers, with my top layer being slightly shorter than normal because my hair is so thick and heavy that it appears flat on top. Easy, right? Apparently not. What I got, was what looks like the stylist put a bowl on my head and cut the top layer, then very unevenly proceeded to take out to much of my hair with such uneven layers that I cannot even put it in a pony tail at this point. Which is odd given the longest layer goes to the center of my back. The only way to fix this awful haircut is to cut a LARGE amount of length off. Which just breaks my heart being that I have spent so long growing my hair out. But at this point, it's just not savable. My point - Be cautious.
