Geneva Nails and Spa Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough, MA

Do not go here. I used to come here often a few years ago and loved it. But the last two times I have been there I was rushed (no line behind me it was very slow), did not receive the color I wanted both times and cracked nails in 24 to 48 hours. It is clear the quality of this place has really gone down hill. When my nails cracked and started chipping/ peeling immediately I did not even want to go back to fix them because I did not get the color I picked in the first place. And when I asked if I could fix the color as it did not match the sample I picked I was told this is the sample number you picked and they continued without letting me switch ( only one nail was done at this point it could have been a easy swap). I will not be going back.

RUN as far as you can!! I tried giving this place two shots and should have walked away the first time. This place makes up their pricing with nothing to go by and will nickel and dime you for anything possible. I went and got an acrylic full set with blue french, nothing crazy and walked out paying $90 without tip. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never paid so much unless I got designs or fancy nails. When I asked for a price break down it took her several minutes to come up with what I was paying for all while one of the other workers was yelling across the room at her, prompting my nail tech what to say to me. Finally when she did come up with a price breakdown she told me originally it would be $60 for a full set but charged me $5 extra for "long nails." With todays trends, these nails are so far from "long". She then proceeded to tell me it was an extra $15 for French as well as an extra $5 because I asked her to bring the sides a bit higher (the way my jaw dropped because this woman had to do 2 extra brush strokes). After asking for their opinions, two other random customers in the salon looked at my nails and both said out loud "that's just normal French" justifying my point of being overcharged. Not only is their pricing unjustified, the nail tech hit my finger with the drill no exaggeration 4/6 times. She also drilled one of my nails so thin it was bright pink. Like I said I have been getting my nails done (acrylics) for over 10 years and my jaw is still on the ground. Not to mention the French I paid extra for is muddy and crooked up close. At one point there was a ton of fuzz on a nail from her hitting it and when I nicely asked her to remove it she told me don't worry it won't show with a clear coat. When I made it clear I wanted it wiped off my nail before painting over it, she continuously mumbled under her breath as I clearly upset her. As for someone who works in the service industry myself, this whole thing was so far from acceptable. Lastly, to even think about charging those prices, I should be walking into a nice salon, not some outdated, undecorated, rock blasting, space. I'm not big on writing negative reviews but I will make sure to let everyone I know not to go here. Side note: how do you justify paying $20 extra dollars for French when you use half the paint but charge regular price to paint the whole nail?? Make it make sense.

this place are very expensive & 2 ladies are very bad I asked for fix my nails she's like you have to pay 2 times money sh didn't finish my na very very bad people don't know cus service!!!!!!! don't go this place

this was my first time going to a nail salon to get my nails done professionally and i was very disappointed. i had seen good reviews and heard it was reasonably priced. there was a language barrier, which wasn't an issue, but the lady that interacted with us was visibly annoyed and unfriendly towards us. when i chose the nail color from the color display, they brought a color different from what i chose and said they were out of the one i wanted. if they were out of a color, i wish they would've simply removed that color from the color display. she also cut my cuticle and i was bleeding for a while. she did apologize and try to stop the bleeding. she did do well on the design i asked her to do, but i was still unsatisfied with the color. due to the unfriendliness and service, i won't be returning to this nail salon.

Jade is amazing. I loved my French gel manicure and pedicure! Great attention to detail and surprisingly fast. I will definitely be back again
