My daughter & I have been frequent customers of Gavin Scott, receiving hair cuts, facials and waxing. This time when I called for an appointment, I never received a call back regarding the procedure. When I finally called back a third time they told me the person who does the waxing was not taking on any new clients. Ok, we've been clients there for the past two years! And I had to call three times to receive this conclusion. Not a good look and not going back. This is definitely not how you build a business.

Was able to get in to a last minute appt and the front desk was nothing but helpful and kind. The appointment was not what I expected though. The nail tech came out with no introduction and just took us to the polish and said "pick one" and stood there and watched us. It was oddly uncomfortable. The water temp was way too hot and I had to wait for her to come back as she had walked out after showing us our chairs. Once cold was added I figured it was good from there. The pedi chairs kept losing water and she had to keep refilling them. Mine didn't have the jets turned on until halfway through when she noticed it so I just soaked in warm-ish water. The girl did not talk at all which made it really awkward so I ended up picking up my phone and working through work emails - not what i planned to do but it was just really awkward. I tried talking to her a couple times and only got a couple word answers so I stopped trying. A manager or owner came back to look at one of the chairs and started asking questions about which one no longer worked so my treatment was paused while they looked over a different chair to talk about it. The treatment was decent but the polish was not ok. She used two coats but they were put on so thick it literally took HOURS to fully dry. I get pedis every month and have never seen anything like it. My toes are clumped and smeared and that's after keeping the toe separators in for 2 hours and not doing anything to cause an issue. $50+ out and just not thrilled. Not looking to go back or get anything fixed. I'll just find a new location. My appointment was done around 2 pm. It's now 11 pm and my polish is still soft where it is clumpy. I'll end up removing it and redoing it myself this weekend.

This salon has been a pleasant find for me. I moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 2020 and have been unable to find a place I liked well enough to continue coming back. I feel like I finally found it! Originally, I just needed to find someone who could cut hair and be consistent. That turned out to be Rachel. I tried two other salons and a barbershop--three cuts at each place (nine cuts) and all nine cuts were wonky. Rachel fixed what the barbershop guy hacked up. Now, through about five cuts with her, she's given me a youthful style that has looked good every time! It's more than just a haircut that keeps me coming back. I wanted to get my wife something nice for her birthday, so I got her the 'Deep Release' pedicure and bought a visit for me, too, so we could do it as a couple. We got Hanna and Amanda and they were great--so friendly and fun! The sugar scrub, foot mask, massage and even polishing (yes, I did--why not?) were relaxing and enjoyable. Oh, and the wine they served us was also quite delicious! That was in fall and my wife wanted to come back, so we were able to sneak in another pedicure just before the holidays. After another enjoyable visit, we knew pedicure season would be ending, so we booked facials with Hanna and Amanda--neither of us had ever had a facial. Now we have enjoyed two really great facial visits that were great ways to find relaxation at the end of stressful work days. I really feel like we found a consistently good salon staffed by skilled professionals who are also warm and welcoming people.

I've been to this spa a few times and was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the salon. I've been happy with all my services until now. I had my hair highlighted and it looked great when I left the salon. It was styled very nice and the color was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately once I got home things changed. The color stained my bedding to the point I had to throw it away. I've never had that happen to me in the 30 years I've been highlighting my hair. Once I saw my hair not styled and laying straight it was not cut evenly around my face. I had a great experience while I was there but not happy with the final results.
