New Image Salon of Stow in Stow, OH

I went here for years to get my hair styled, etc. That all changed with the new ownership. It used to have a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I can no longer recommend.

Brandi is awesome at reccomending color and did a great job with my cut. I've been getting compliments for the past 2 days. She also did a wonderful job on my nails. Thanks so much!!

I love New Image Salon!! I finally found a hair stylist who did an excellent job! Taylor cut and styled my hair and my 2 grand daughters hair. We love the cuts, color and style!! We were given VIP treatment!! I highly recommend Taylor!!

I went to them to have my hair reshaped from a cut I didn't like--the hair alongside my face had been angled back so far that it looked like I had 2 different hair styles going on (a long bob + long hair in the back). I was trying to get my hair back to it's normal length of just below the shoulder. My hairstylist was Christy and she started out texturiing the bottom of my hair to make it blend in. The effect was that it made the problem even worse. She then offered to give me what would have resulted in a 5" long bob. I was near tears when I left. BTW, if you link to their site from here, the information on the site must be old since the price she quoted me was $28 for a dry cut vs. the $22 on the website. Additionally, there is no longer a 20% discount if you ask for her and mention the website.

I have FINALLY found a good salon in the Kent area! It only took me two years! I'm really not all that picky when it comes to hair. I keep my hair short and spunky, so if something goes wrong, I usually don't have to wait very long until I can fix it. That being said, I'd obviously rather not have to wait for the hairstyle I want. At the same time, I don't want to spend over $40 on a haircut. Like I said, I keep my hair short, so I don't really see how salons can justify charging me a ton of money to chop off less than an inch of hair. I found New Image after hours (no exaggeration) of searching on the web. Something about the way they portray themselves on their website really drew me in, so I called to make an appointment and they got me in the same day. My stylist was Michelle, and I knew pretty much right away that the experience would be perfect. She asked what I was interested in and I gave her a general idea of the hairstyles I like. We were on the same page right away. I told her that I like to give my stylists creative license to do what they think is best...they are trained to do the job, after all. Michelle carefully explained what she had in mind, and all systems were go. Throughout the entire process, Michelle was very friendly and personable. 30 minutes later, I left with one of the best haircuts I have had in a very long time. Michelle said that if within a week I notice any issues, I can come back in and have it fixed free of charge. Major bonus. The shampoo, cut, and dry normally costs $25, but with an online coupon from their website, I paid $22.40. Perfect price! I'm so relieved I've found a local salon and stylist I can count on. I'll definitely be back!
