They are always friendly and accommodating. I am one of those people that when you find a good hair stylist, you stick with her. I never have a concern about how it's going to look when I am done. Fees are very reasonable, I would recommend.

Quick and easy: Went there a few months later, hair was not done even 1/2 as well. Bushed out same night after leaving an hour later! Stylist waited until she was finished to tell me that the posted price on the wall doesn't apply to me b/c I have natural hair and more than double the price. Needless to say I haven't been back. Wish that I would have remembered to review it then. no telling how many other people they have tricked since then. Sad, when will businesses like this understand that you might win my money today in the short term, but you could have gotten so so much more of it in the long term had you not tried to be tricky and pull a fast one for instant gratification and greed. Honor your prices and do the job that you are charging for at least if you are going to raise your prices.

I entered the hair salon and immediately was impressed with the pristine-finished look of the place. I wanted to support a local place and, being Dominican, wanted to see what this barber shop was all about. There were people ahead of me in line and the barber guy (can't remember his name, bleached beard with bald head) said I'd be after a few people he pointed out. After waiting an hour, one of his friends showed up with his kid and the barber looked at me and asked if it was okay for them to cut me in line. I was the next in line but the barber jumped his friend's son right in-front of me disrespectfully and did not even care that I had waited so long for a cut. After the kid got the cut, the barber apologized then got my instructions for a 1 on the side, 4 on the top like a normal barber would understand. He started to berate me for not having a hair style! What an unimpressive establishment. After all the wait, I was left with a sub-par haircut. Had the barber even given me the time to explain what I wanted my hair to look like instead of berate me, I feel like I could have gotten a better cut. I walked out feeling disappointed. The other reviewers mentioned the ladies at the shop being so nice and friendly, but that was not my experience at all with this barber guy at this establishment. I definitely will not get my haircut here ever again.

Really nice people and really nice haircuts. I usually get my haircut from the same lady. From the very first time I went there, she knew what to do to my hair and hasn't forgotten since then. It's nice to not have to explain complicated haircuts over and over. Highly recommended!

Omg!!! I just got home with the best hair EVER!!! I have been looking for a Dominican hair salon ever since I moved to Bethesda. They are the best, when I walked in there my hair looked like a mop. When I came out wow!!! I am puertorrican so not a lot of people know how to work with my hair. Dulce, the lady that did my hair is amazing!!! I will recommend my family, friends, the hole world to go see her. Thus is officially my go to place!!! Thank you Dulce!!! P.s. my husband was amazed, he loved it!!! I went to the one on university blvd.
