Some of the ladies are nice, but I would not recommend the salon if you are not fluent in Amharic. 1. I brought my own products and they still used some of their own without asking. I think she even used some shampoo after my deep conditioner. 2. I brought in a luxury brand of shampoo and she used HALF the bottle even when my hair became over saturated with product. (Less is almost always more with hydrating shampoos) 3. She kept referring to my hair as short and it's not...I thought that was weird, inaccurate, and off putting. 4. They often will use a flat iron (or try to use it) even if you request the opposite. 5. The price varies even if you always do the same service. Sadly, I just can't win with salons in the dmv. It just seems like dealing with hair envy and stylists who do what they want and not what you ask is the norm out here. True bummer here because most salons (esp luxury salons) no longer do roller sets. I will say my hair is so tangles after roller setting here. I wonder if it's because they've (not so secretly) used shampoo to wash out my hydrating conditioner. Also, when I wrapped my hair and took it out...it didn't even look like I had my hair done! Do not recommend!

I just called and she just hanged up on me when she couldn't understand me but I told her I could send a picture of what I wanted and she just hang up on me the owner

I LOVE MY HAIR! I got it done by a lady named tigist , so if you want it done like this ask for her to do it. It was $120 and I bought my own hair. This is a leave out sew in, I used 20" 22"24" length. My only complaint was that tigist was flat ironing my hair multiple times so my hair will be heat damaged , but I'm not that bothered because it was already a little damaged before I got it done. So make sure to tell them not to go through your hair with heat a lot.

I (Mahlet) had a hair appointment elsewhere Friday 6/17. The stylist cancelled on me the morning of. I went straight to Yelp to search for a salon close to me. I was able to get a same day appointment. My experience was wonderful from the time I scheduled the appointment to the completion. The ladies in the shop are nice. My Amharic is a little rusty but I was able to speak with them in Amharic and English. Tigist was my stylist. She used all of my bundles of hair without cutting! That's great for those like myself that reuse the hair they spend hundreds on. I will be returning for braids after I wear this style for 6-8 weeks.

I won't recommend this salon to any women with 4c hair texture the woman washed me back and forth and told me that my hair isn't an easy fix and let me wait while she brade and help another woman I told her I don't want the silk press since she was hurting me by pulling my hair so recklessly however she charges for the silk press I didn't get
