Galaxy Nails in Kansas City, MO

Mindy did a fab job and it's a pleasant shop. The pedi has lasted 5 weeks and if my nails weren't growing I'd never need another. Highly recommend!

After visiting several shops in the Kansas City/Overland Park/Lenexa Area, I've come to the realization These Nail shops are a Rip Off. The lights are so in these places that unless you  have glasses on (which I will from now on) you don't see ALL the imperfections in their work. They are so nice and promise you a good job just to distract you and the minute you buy into their Bull and get comfortable they go in for the kill. We feel sorry for them so we say nothing thank them and tip for horrible service and walk away because we know that if we have one single complaint that's the End of a somewhat good thing and we have to move on, which is Never easy. They take advantage of Us because they feel like we have so much but a lot of us do not and work Hard for that dollar. We have to Stop being dependant on them which is what they count on and Our laziness and vanity. We should start Boycotting these establishments that don't feel we deserve their very Best! They are Robbing our pockets, minds, bodies and spirits with this manipulation of theirs. It's Insanity if you really think about it! I'm sitting her now with a messed up pedi and mani, upset going back tomorrow because the shop I went to promised to fix it, Even though I don't want to but I'm not going to get a refund and I just don't have the time right now to look for another salon. Like I said Insanity ! We think we really have to have it but we don't. Gotta keep saying it until we believe it.

I love this place. Eli is my favorite not only is he good at what he does. He's hilarious!!

I got eyelashes I asked can they be long and full she said yes for 45 dollars I thought they was going to be cute for how long she took when she got done they were very then with some space spots I told her she told me to wait until they dry I will never go here again !

To start off I wanted to write this review and update it because I remember that at the time I didn't really know a lot about nails but now that I know and I've got a more professional nail artist they have done my nails I'm going to say that this was totally a zero star because they charged me $54 for chunky nails that I will never go to again I don't know how people wanna go there I should've clarified the lady I know I should've but I didn't know at the time how to say I am gladly going to say that I will not come here ever again it is not a professional place trust me the first time that I got them done they actually charge me around $55 and they were semi-OK but the second time that I went there with my sister it was not good it was $54 for these really raggedy nails that are ratchet I don't like them at all and I'm sorry for whoever is reading this but I'm not exaggerating please don't waste your money here ever!.
