I've been coming to Foxy Nail for 18 years. Rosie has always been my technician. The shop is always clean and the atmosphere is always Zen. I enjoy my time here and highly recommend.

Vinny took his time, listened to my concerns as I have flat mail beds. I went this time for a fill from a previous salon but he told me once I'm due for a new set he can use tips that are shaped differently and use the acrylic to give the look of a regular nail bed! I've always been self conscious of getting my nails done bc of the way they look when longer. I'm so excited to see how they will turn out!

I'm really unhappy about feeling the need to write this kind of review at this time. We've been to this salon many times over the years and it's always been good so I'll allow that this may have been an off day. I needed a mani/pedi, which is what I booked my appointment for. The pedi went ok. I'd provided a picture of what I wanted and it was mostly similar. The mani is where things went off the rails. I went in with my natural nails with gel polish on and I pointed out that I had three nails with cracks in them and requested a very thin acrylic overlay on those three. I also requested a slight shortening of my nails and the end result to be oval. I was told I needed to get the acrylic overlay on all my nails. I was hesitant but gave my consent as long as the overlay was very, very thin. Well, I left with very short square round-ish nails, thick acrylic overlay, several little scrapes and cuts, and my natural nails destroyed. The original gel was filed off, no acetone used, and my natural nails ground to an extremely thin state, the drill burned me on every nail but I was told that was necessary for the acrylic to stick. This has not been experience in any other salon. The mani is booked was never completed, no cuticle work, no soak in water, and a token snipping of a few cuticles at the very end. No lotion, no cuticle oil. The tech used the drill on the underside of my nails, which eradicated my natural nails entirely, so the only material above my fingertip is acrylic. I will have to grow my nails out completely for this to be fixed. When I voiced concern at the untidiness of the polish and acrylic (acrylic under my nails, on my fingertips, polish on cuticles, fingertips still a little dirty from when I arrived) I was met with lack of outright denial and after many attempts to point out the issues, I decided to leave. It's now the day after and my fingertips are very sore and I really don't think the end result looks professional at all. That, coupled with the fact that this appointment was well over $100, I do not think I got good value for my money. I paid what I was charged, including a tip, but I will never be back and will never recommend this place to anyone again. I hate to sound like a total Karen but I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone and felt I needed to write something about it.
