Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in St Louis Park, MN

Had an appointment at a specific time. Arrived 5 min early. Stylist decided to take a walk in in front of me which caused a 45 min delay in my appointment starting. She literally made eye contact with me, smiled at me, and proceeded to call up the walk in.

Dishonest, amateurish, and unprofessional. I paid the patently ridiculous price of $200 to have my paper-thin, just-below-shoulder-length hair dyed Grandma Gray (instead of platinum blonde), in an under-two-hour session at a middle-grade salon. I wish I would have done my research and seen this salons two-star rating before I dropped a huge amount of cash to have my hair messed up. What is even worse is that the salon refused my request for a partial refund. They said they don't issue refunds now, or ever. They offered to "fix" my hair, but why would I want the same Salon that overcharged me and then messed up my hair, to touch it? The manager of the store was initially hostile to my complaint and even imply that I was lying about certain things. I was not. She had much better manners the next time we talked, so I appreciate that. Initially, she pretty much cross-examined me and found me the guilty party. Crazy.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY 1-STAR REVIEWS FOR A SINGLE BUSINESS! (They're an independent, they just use FS' name.) First off, they never asked if I wanted my hair washed. This is something that's included in the price of the haircut. I asked her to take 1" off the back. She said, "I just tidied it up, I didn't take 1" off." I've never encountered anything like that before. So, don't be surprised if they ask you what you want them to do and they just go ahead and do whatever they want. Your time is best served anywhere else. I have no idea why I tipped them, they didn't do anything but remove split ends. I'm still regretting it.

Brian is the best stylist I've ever had! He suggested products that make my hair look better than it ever has & I'm 54! He's efficient and the perfect amount of "chatty"... some stylists talk way too much, but it's even worse when they're silent. I don't know about any of the other stylists, but Brian is A+++

Biggest shock, I've ever had Trim only. No shampoo, No styling Went to pay...$30.00..I did pay..I did receive their service but getting gouged is just unthinkable. Sorry to say I will NEVER go back..Owner needs to rethink what she is charging ,GREED never wins!!
