Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Henderson, NV

I was in this location for the first time last week
I came in there was a guy named Marshall who cut my hair when he explaining what he was going to do, I felt really at ease in his skills and abilities after

we spoke for roughly 5 minutes I didn't have to question anything about if he knew what he was doing or not

Marshall made me feel like I was the only guest knowing he has others cuz clearly he has others he has to there that he doesn't have others

He made sure my hair was cut cleaned and blended

I am beyond happy with his work

He made my hair cut shine bright
So much that
As I was in my sister's wedding

The photographer wanted to get a photo of my hair
Then he asked who did my hair

I said
Go to fantastic Sams on horizon ridge
And you really need to ask for Marshall

He will take care of your hair

Marshall made sure I want to come back

And I will

WHEN YOU GO IN
SAY "WHARE IS THAT GUY MARSHALL, I WANT HIM"

He does seem to get busy so plan ahead and make an appointment

He is worth the wait, trust me

Today I had the absolute BEST HAIR COLOR at Fantastic Sams in Henderson, NV 89052.

I'm originally from Boston MA and always went to very boutique upscale salons that offered delicious snacks, wine, soda etc.

So even though this stylist, MARSHALL HUGHES , was highly recommended by a friend who recently discovered this 'hair artist', I was still not convinced .

I drove by this salon, double parked to peak in, and left.  It reminded me of a salon where new hair stylists, just out of school might get a first job.

My friend continued to encourage me, whenever I saw her at cards, and she was always looking like she had her hair colored and cut at a very high end pricey salon.

So again I drove by, but this time I walked in.  Marshall was busy with another guest, but he told me when I could return for a consultation, which was what I needed prior to letting anyone color/cut my hair.

I did this and was beyond impressed with what he told me about his coloring technique .....nothing I've ever experienced before!

So I scheduled an appointment and I'm in awe of Marshall Hughes skills, talents and knowledge with coloring.  I'm a brunette so typically here in Henderson / Las Vegas a stylist just added color quickly, and it was over & done.  But Marshall invited me to watch him mix my colors and explained what each color he added would do for me.  He continued to explain ever step to me in layman's terms so that I'd be calm, knowing that he new what he was creating for my color.  He is a COLOR GENIUS and my cut is as fab as his color! And he also explained, as he was cutting my hair, why he was doing everything he did, and what he'd do at follow-up appointment, after hair grew in from my previous haircut elsewhere.

Besides being so gifted, he is the most personable stylist and spending time in his chair was delightful.

I walked in a little after 2:pm and stood there waiting.  I could hear a man in the back talking on his cell phone; loud and on speaker.  After 6 or 7 minutes, he came out and said,  Oh, sorry.  Hang on a sec.  He went back in the room, took roughly 15 seconds to end his call, still on speaker.  I asked him if he was the only one there.  He replied, For now.  I said ,ok, no thanks, and turned to leave.  Up to that point he was pleasant and I hadn't considered a negative review.  As I turned to leave he raised his voice and said, I don't f@#k!n need this. F@#K You.  So here's a negative review.  And for the management, you can check the recording from camera over the door.

Horrible. Ignored me without saying even hello for 30 minutes. Made a comment about "cutting the janitors hair". I am a Physician and not a janitor. That being said I will never get my hair cut here again. Recommend going to sports clip down the road...

Great service, friendly stylists and haircuts at good price.
