Julie was so funny, talented, and welcoming! I've only ever gone to one person my entire life for haircuts, so I was a little hesitant to stop by a "chain" salon; however, Julie made me feel so comfortable and did a great job on my trim! I will definitely be back.
I asked the woman who cut my hair (we'll call her "Lisa") just to add more layers and face framing so that my natural curls would be more visible. She did WAY more than that, and not in a good way. She
did the exact opposite of everything we discussed. I told her not to stack my hair - she stacked it. I told her not to take length off - she took a LOT of length off. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted, but she chose to go in an entirely different, horrifying direction.
What I asked for and she agreed to do: A layered bob. What she actually gave me: A 1960's bouffant suitable for 90-year-old ladies. It's the worst haircut I have ever had, and all I can do now is wait for about a year for it to grow back out. And wear a lot of hats.
Service and experience has become less consistent. On two recent occasions I showed up for an appointment and the stylist did not. The consistency of the cut has also wavered with me having to return for fixes multiple times. Also recently booked through the app to find they did not have me in their system when I arrived. And just now received a text that they changed my appointment time without consulting with me.
This is the store moved from Tryon to Ten Ten. Staff is not professional at all in dealing with customers appointments and timings. There is no respect given for others time and not sure why do we have appointments when you have to wait literally 45 mins passed your appointment time.
I been seeing same hair stylist for almost an year now and she did a good job all the times and due to this management errors and this happened second time to me I would definitely look for other options.
