Customer service was great. Didn't seem to be in a rush to do nails. Took their time. Didn't like that you can leave cash as a tip only.
Why is the vibe so sad here? Oh maybe because Mabel is always super rude. Not only to me but to my mom and the poor girl sitting next to me when she politely asked Mabel to fix a French tip that showed her nail. Yesterday, they did not have the color I wanted in gel polish so I choose an OPI color. Mabel rudely grabbed the nail polish and yelled, "You can't get this!" It was SO abrupt. I said I came for that color and asked if they had it in gel. She said no and said, I'm still going to have to pay extra - wtf!! The sign clearly says, "$5 add on for gel". Honestly, I really think she doesn't like Natives. I see favoritism, fr! She even threw my hands around during our sesh, gross! Learn about people of this land!!
I have been enjoying my monthly pampering at Fancy Nails for many years. Jimmy and Mabel are fabulous! My feet start out looking like something that would belong to Sasquatch but after Jimmy and Mabel work their magic, removing callouses, massaging and trimming nails, they look like Tinkerbell's pretty toes!! I have NEVER had a bad experience! I am always greater by name and with a smile. I experience a relaxing, professional and perfect pedicure each and every time. Thank you, Jimmy and Mabel!! It's always a pleasure at Fancy Nails!
Came 2nd time to give them a chance. Still horrible. They left the glue all over my nails. Very disappointed. Twice in a row. I'll not come back.
I love this place. It's small and quiet and after 14 years of coming here I decided it was time I leave a review. I have always received great service, perfectly manicured nails. One popular place in town led me to Fancy Nails when for the first time in my life I had a fungus not once but twice due to poor maintenance in that salon. That popular place is still in business and every once in a while, I see on our local Facebook page people complaining that the implements we're not properly cleaned and they have the same problem that led me to Fancy Nails. So 14 years later, I am still a devoted, loyal customer to Mabel and Jimmy.
