I had a great experience today with Trish. This is a small family business so you need to book in advance. Both the quality of work and customer service were outstanding. I will definitely be back.
This was the best manicure I have ever had. I have hopped from salon to salon. I've finally found a winner. Vinnie and his wife treated me as though I had been coming there for years. The atmosphere was great. Just right. They are two wonderful artists. I can't begin to explain how pleased I am with my "new" nails. I highly recommend Fancy Nails.
I have mixed feelings about this place. Let me explain. Vinny and his wife are very kind and patient. I felt comfortable the whole time. I came in with my two daughters. They told me my full set acrylic was $55. One of my daughters was going to be $65 for gel full set and then $35 for a manicure. Would have all come out to $155. When I checked out she verbally restated those prices....charged me $80 for each full set.....within seconds of telling me the price for each she up charged me. I ended up paying $195. I'm confused and feel swindled a bit. Prices should be listed and honored. If they needed to upsell me they should have given reason, for which I would graciously pay. My French tip acrylic is not with $80. That is insane. I wasn't going to make a scene, they were nice and I appreciated their kindness. I'm conflicted and don't think I will go back. If they would have told me $80 each originally...I wouldn't be here with this review. Your verbal price should reflect what I am charged.
Trish and Vinny are always so friendly. And their work is excellent. I love the atmosphere and they greet me by name and work with my very busy schedule.
It was my first time at this place & it was great!! I called ahead of time to make an appointment and they scheduled it right away. The people were great and welcoming! The only thing that bothered me was that my nail polish wasn't as dark as I wanted it to be. You can still see the acrylic in some areas so maybe I just needed another coat. But then the nail polish came off after a week. It was chipping and came off like nothing. At least the shaping was exactly how I wanted it to be! But I would definitely go back and try again!
