I was looking for a new nail salon for pedicures and tried this one yesterday. I will never go back. I, too, got the tattooed nail tech who apparently hates his job. He came to the front to get me and motioned for me to follow him. Not that I have to have a conversation when having my nails done, but he never asked me if I wanted my nails shortened or what shape I wanted. He shoved the menu at me and never said a word. My calf and foot massage consisted of him dripping oil on my calves, rubbing it in and wiping it off with a towel. He never touched my feet. I never want to appear cheap so I tipped him and now I'm mad at myself for doing so. Like the other reviewer said, he was a complete asshole. He must be the owners brother or son.....
I have come to this salon several times in the last year and a half and have never had any issues. Today I called for a late appointment and a lady on the phone was absolutely nice to me. I arrive at the salon and try to pick out my color. I was instantly rushed by a male tech ( full sleeve tattoo's) he was instantly irritated with me, complained about removing my previous gel, pushing, pulling and twisting my hand the whole time. Treating me like my hand wasn't attached to my body. Slamming my hand down or around what ever direction he wanted and rolling his eyes at me, telling me to sit straight. He was rough with me the whole time. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I will never return to this salon. He was an absolute asshole to me. Avoid him at all costs.
I do not recommend, I was away from my usual spot and decided to try this spot. Worse nail experience I have ever had. The guy filed my nails for 30 minutes straight and when they got painful he told me to quit moving. I have 3 cut fingers and my nails are burning underneath the nail polish, like there's no nail there anymore. My finger nail polish looks awful and not smooth at all. I will never go back!
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had a full set of pink and whites put in and 2 nails were put on crooked. When I said something they seemed so out out with me!!! Then are also very thick and I hate how they feel and look! $55 wasted.
