Body & Sol Aveda in Lakeville, MN

About six weeks ago I had my blonde hair highlighted at Body and Sol and it turned yellow and dry. I went back for a consult and had a conditioning treatment and a Malibu treatment to remove iron build up from my hair and it did absolutely nothing. The stylist said she had a plan and would do an all over color next time to get the blonde more ashy. I went in for this today and showed her a picture of my own hair in the past explaining that was the color I wanted and she barley looked and said again she had a plan and when she was done my hair was orange. At first she tried to act like it wasn't that bad and then she agreed it didn't come out how she thought it would. So she used toner on it and it turned a darker, dull looking blonde. When she was rinsing my hair the water was so hot I had to ask her twice to turn it down and it still feels like she burnt my scalp. So when I was leaving they asked how my service was and I said it didn't turn out how I wanted it to. They went and got the manager and she was nice and didn't charge me and offered to have me come back in tonight and have it fixed. I reluctantly agreed and the new stylist again was confident she could fix it and again I showed her the picture and felt like she dismissed it. She did blonde highlights and some type of color lifting treatment. The highlights are nice but the orange is back. She was rude and basically gaslighted me saying she didn't see it. I really questioned myself thinking maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I got home and looked more closely and it is definitely orange with blonde highlights. I have a few really important events that I have worked for for over three years coming up in the next few weeks and my hair looks horrible. I am going to have to search for someone who can fix it and spend more time and money I don't have on it. Literally makes me sick to look at my hair. I wish I could wear a hat tomorrow.

I always go here to get my eyebrows waxed by Kim and have a very pleasant experience. Today she was not in so I saw Tracy and my eyebrows have never been more uneven or lopsided. She took way too much off on the one side which was disappointing to me. I had great brows and she removed like half of one of them. She was a very nice lady but left my eyebrows not how I asked. Next time I will specifically go to only Kim because I trust her.

I had my hair done here for the first time and the final product was far different than intended. I went back for re-toning (which they covered for free) and again it was not anywhere near intended outcome. So then when I went to my normal stylist in Minneapolis (we moved and B&S was much closer to new home) she agreed that the process completed on my hair was incorrect for my request via photos that I showed. When I spoke with the hair manager Allie she informed me that I "voided the warranty" by not coming back for a THIRD time to have them fix it, even though I no longer trusted their services. Very very disappointed and would not recommend hair services here to anyone. Very sad as my family has always had great interactions for the last 15 years. Poor customer service and accountability. (edit to add: my hair started with no color, dark brown all around so it should have been a blank canvas)

Horrible service didn't listen or follow direction in any capacity not only that I was there for 3 1/2 hours and paid 225 for a horrible color and haircut ugh

My mom and I go here for our hair & it's honestly the best. Taylor does such an amazing job & I am always in love with the way it turns out!
