Caitlyn is great but the actual salon is more than subpar.. it's like a hangout for odd people.. sorry but if you're looking to relax and chat with your stylist forget it.. it seems stressful and lots of people are just there but not customers?? It's really bizarre and nothing like I have ever experienced before. The whole thing makes you really uncomfortable..
Very disappointed with the service. The lady who cut my hair had her kids there watching a movie with the volume way up, when the movie ended they stated arguing with one another, there was a point she even spanked her son while she was cutting my hair. The kids kept messing with the water bottle she was using to get my hair wet. No music was playing, just the sound of her kids. I was in and out in 20minutes. She cut it in maybe ten minutes. I have never felt so rushed to get out of a place. Very unprofessional and will definitely not be going back!

Family Hair Design just moved to a new location on Baker and 8th. I waited until the last minute to get a hair trim/restyle for an up coming event. Not a great idea for good results ...when I stopped by (on a Saturday) for a trim the new hair salon space was swamped. My hair dresser was booked all day. Then Katelyn stepped in and said she could do it. I found out after we started that she delayed a holiday departure to give me a walk-in, hair appointment. She is amazing!! Superb styling and excellent customer service. Can't do better anywhere ~ I LOVE my trim/restyle. Thx Katelyn and Family Hair Design!! Good luck in your new spot.
