My husband got his hair cut this past weekend.  The cut was good, but the dark haired thin woman kept coughing all over him without even trying to cover her mouth.  And shocker, she wasn't wearing a mask either.  In this time of COVID, that really pissed me off.  Completely disgusted.

Please read this review! First off the elderly petite woman that cut my hair usually does a fabulous and very timely cut. She is REALLY good. Today she cut a chunk out of the the area where my hair is receding. I have told her in the past not to cut my hair in that area. When I came in she was CONSTANTLY adjusting her face mask by grabbing it from the front with her bare hands. It kept falling down. It was loose. We got to talking about how to properly take your mask off. I told this woman and the manager that I learned from a doctor on the news that we should take the mask off by the straps on the side to BEST prevent the spread of the virus. Well both the manager and this employee kept defending her unsafe actions with the mask and the petite hairstylist kept defending her disjointed take on the severity of this deadly virus the ENTIRE time I was at this business. The manager said that it was the same thing whether you remove your mask from the front or from the straps. WRONG. That's NOT what our high level doctors are telling us. I then adjusted my mask from the front with the plastic gloves I had on. All of a sudden the manager disjointedly said "look you're grabbing it from the front too!!!" BIG difference. I can take off my gloves and my hands are clean. The woman cutting my hair was constantly grabbing the front of her mask with her bare hands and touching everything around her at the front register. She also told me that she doesn't have to worry, because she doesn't have the virus. She said that she ONLY wears the mask, because the owner told her too. I told her that you could get tested for the virus and the next day you could contract the virus. I told her it isn't about you, it's about spreading it to other people around you. Also the tests are NOT that accurate. She told me that she is not a 3 year old so no one can tell her what to do. I told her that I am an adult and people CAN tell me what to do. We need to closely follow the guidelines our government is giving us so we can prevent the spread of this disease. This woman also compared this virus to the flu and the deaths that occur. I told her that this virus is DEADLY. There is a HUGE difference between the flu and the coronavirus. This woman told me that she is tired of hearing about this virus. She said that she had more important things to think about. I told her that this virus will be around for a long time and that people will continue to talk about this virus. We all need to talk about the safety factors involved. We all need to follow safe guidelines as outlined by our States/ government. This is NOT a personal choice when it comes to the safety of our fellow citizen. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS BUSINESS. I want to be around people who truly care about the safety of others and people who consistently take the necessary steps to fight the spread of this VERY deadly virus.

First off, i wouldn't even rate star or even recommend this place. The girl name Erica ( stylist) who was in a bit of a rush to cut my hair. Not that they were busy ..I simply asked her to wash my hair it seemed like it was just half assed washed . My hair was already under the shoulders and she cut 6 inches off which I told her only a trim when she rushed through the cut & burnt me twice with a flat iron and leaving a burnt mark on my forehead ( middle )
And charged me $40
I will not come back to this place ever again
I'm a private person about my life and she seems she wanted to know all about me .

Wouldn't recommend this place. I should have read the reviews first. Stylist was not balanced and shouldn't be cutting hair. Too quick, cut me up and now I need to stop somewhere else to get it fixed.

I just moved here in June. This would be my son's second haircut so I was of course nervous. I needed to find a kid friendly person who has lots of patiences with children. I walked I Family Cuts with my 19 month old. After waiting 5 minutes his name was called by the stylist Tammy. Immediately she was very attentive to my son & what cut I wanted done. She was very playful with him. Every tool she used on his head she would explain & even tickle him. She is absolutely amazing. I found out new stylist for my son.
