This place is not clean and they don't use new sanitized cuticle removers. I watched them try and use the same cuticle remover on the next customer. I told the lady next to me that the lady before was bleeding and that's the same cuticle removal. When, I thought about it, I asked Kim if my supplies were sanitized, and she was so rude because I asked. I didn't allow Kim to finish, and the other customer and I left.
If I could give no stars I would! Lady was rough, rude and the nails looked so horrible I just told her to take them off!
I walked in and was seated immediately for a full. I asked the gentleman to assist with my color choices. He handed me a box and got aggravated that I was taking too long (at this point it was about 49 seconds) He then got up spoke to one of his coworkers -I didn't understand the language and walked out the front door to smoke a cigarette. I left.
I asked for dip and instead of dipping my nails in the male technician started applying it like acrylic, when i said i wanted dip he said "they're the same thing" the nails were so blocky and dirty. He was scooping the "dip" from underneath my nails with the glue on acrylics for nails. They were extremely thick and messy looking, I had to come back to get them taken off because they hurt so bad. When I asked for him to shave it down he barely did so stating that they were "already pretty thin". I've had dip before it is not supposed to look or feel like that. He's done a gel "manicure" for me once before and the nails took forever and didn't start at my nail bed, it looked like they had already been grown out a week. I'm so annoyed that I even let him do my nails and that I had to pay $40 for this.
Don't pay for a manicure or pedicure because they only do a change of polish. I was visiting my son and I had no idea about this salon or their services. However, I was very disappointed. I asked for a manicure with powder polish. He put the powder on in one swipe with a brush. He did not dip my finger at all. I hope the polish doesn't pop off, it's very thick. Afterwards, my finger nails hurt. This was the first time my fingers have ever hurt. Then I got my pedicure & she didn't event push or cut my cuticles. She washed my feet and polished my nails. I paid $75 for both services, I begrudgingly gave them a $10 tip. I'm not sure if this is a good price in this area or not but I usually pay $60 for the same services at home. Well really, better services. Next time I visit my airman I try another nail salon.
