Eyebrow Queen Salon in Oakland, CA

Heard great things about this place and finally decided to try it today. Although I love supporting small businesses, I will not be going back to thread or wax my eyebrows here again. I specifically explained to the staff member who threaded my brows how I wanted them to be done. I wanted my brows to maintain their length and thickness, not be cut, and just get a simple clean up. Unfortunately, I got the total opposite. My brows were thinned out, shape completely changed and I absolutely hate it. To all thread/wax artists, NEVER change someone's natural brow shape unless they've instructed you to do so!!!

BOTH WORKERS VERY SICK AND STILL THREADING!!! Was coughing through entire time she was threading my brows. I have been going here for years because it's cheap and convenient. I got my eyebrows microbladed so it's a super easy job to do I just come in so I don't have to do it at home myself and it's already a drawn outline I don't have to worry about it being a specific shape or to arched, but the women who did mines took off the entire top of my brow! I didn't notice when she showed me the mirror because I was like oh how could they mess it up? She took off a quarter of the top of my brow from the front to the tail. I was looking in the mirror and wondered why my brows look so weird and it was because I was missing hair so all u saw was the microbladed brow. Also she was coughing the entire time she was doing my brows! Not just a small dusty cough she had to step back several times to let out 6-8 big coughs. And I was so disgusted she was just coughing while threading my brows!

Honestly I was so impressed with my eyelashes! I have a tough eye shape to style with lashes so I wasn't hopeful with how they were going to turn out but when I opened my eyes and looked at my lashes it looked like a copy and paste of my inspo pic. All i have to say though get ready to spenddd! My hybrid set was 125 but the time it took was only ONE hour & 30 minutes! compared to other lash techs who take up to 4hrs. So ultimately in my opinion i think its worth the money!

WHEN: Friday @ noon I did walk-in and they took in me right away. The technician threaded my eyebrows and upper lip. Both didn't hurt too bad. It was a very quick service, it took 10min to thread both. The salon was clean, the tech wore masks while threading or waxing customers. The price was very cheap for the Bay Area, $10 eyebrows, $6 upper lip. They finished off threading with aloe gel. You get a stamp card after 10 visits, you get a free eyebrow threading service. The stamp card also had their service prices including eyelash lifts, extensions, waxing, etc. The caveat is parking in the area sucks!! It's street parking, no private lot.

Terrible service! Left my eyebrows crooked & thin . Also with many cuts! HORRIBLE SERVICE
