Exotic Nails in Barboursville, WV

this is from a facebook post please read before going!!! This won't be a happy post at all...

Today I took Allie to get nails done for the Marshall University game tomorrow night where Allie will be getting to see the majorettes and Colorguard!!

Allie is super excited about this!! Well I took her to the mall in Barboursville WV to a place we have went several times, they have always were accommodating  to her and her needs well the lady in there this time was so rude to Allie and I. She actually come out towards to me aggressively when I told her that she she was being rude towards my daughter and I. They normally will come to her chair and place a towel in her lap and just do the nail service there. It's hard to get her chair near the booth and it hurts Allie's back to lean up for long period of times also. The nail tech absolutely refused to accommodate her. She said no she would do that even thou they have numerous times.

I have always been the person that just left and not said much but I am sick and tired of persons with disabilities being treated wrong. Everyone should be treated the same!!

I left there so upset to the point of shaking and almost crying (if I get to that point it ain't good) and a lady come up to me that had been in that salon and said they was so rude to Allie and I and she is not going back to that place.

I will be contacting the owner of the business, also contacting the better business bureau and the business at the mall to see what can be done.

I think it's time for people to make a stand and stop letting people run over persons with disabilities. Everyone deserves to have the same opportunities in life!!

Today a very nice lady and her disabled/wheelchair bound daughter came in for nails and the nail tech was so utterly rude to them, it was embarrassing.  She refused to make any accommodations for the girl, said she would have to sit at her station, which her wheelchair can't go.  The mother was so upset and I feel so bad for them both.  There is no reason that disabled people should feel less than human.  I will tell all my friends and family about this and will not be coming to this establishment again.  It was a terrible experience for that poor mother and her sweet daughter.  The mother said they have had thier nails done there before and were never treated rudely, this is not acceptable.

My cousin has a traumatic brain injury, is wheelchair bound and has been getting her nails done at Exotic Nails for quite some time. Today she wanted to go get her nails done, and her mom took her. The manager was very rude and flatly refused to accommodate their handicapped client. She was heartbroken and totally devastated. After her mom tried unsuccessfully to change the manager's mind, they went further down the mall and finally found a salon that did accommodate her and made her nails absolutely beautiful. This wonderful young lady was able to get her nails, and we really appreciate the awesome staff at Elegant Nails Spa accommodating her. However, the distress she suffered at the hands of the extremely rude staff at Exotic Nails is nothing short of unforgivable!

The worst possible experience that can be had. My wife has used them for the last year. Every experience getting worse. Dropping 75.00 a pop on diner and toe nails, that don't make it 24 hrs before coming off. Terrible workmanship. On this last visit, she calls the shop after her nails started falling off after less than 24 hrs. She was told to. Come back and the would fix for free. So she goes back to them, explains who she talked to. The gentlemen says ok.... takes her back fixed them. Get her to the front register the tells her that will be 35. My wife then tries to explain and he tells her" too late you have  already rang it up. You have to pay".  She just spent 265.00 in there less than 48 hrs. And now they demand to pay up.  She told them that she was going to leave bad reviews on social media, and call the BBB. The response from the guy and the owner was ... " go ahead. We don't care". Never again will this happen again. I just want to warn anyone from spending their hard earned money at a place they don't care about the customs whatsoever.

A god awful paint job, a fill in that costs 40$ and my acrylic filed down so thin I was putting on my leggings and one popped off. Not to mention the man rushed and cut my actual finger. Definitely not worth having to go to another shop and PAY to fix their mistakes.
