Exotic African Hair Braiding in Kansas City, KS

I'm sorry that I got so disrespectful and angry but I'm very disappointed with my daughters hair. Customer service is everything. Is there any way that you can rectify this? My daughter is 9 and was excited to get her hair braided now she actually wants to take her it down. I wanted individual braid not a crocheted hairstyle. I was under the assumption that you were going to use the hair like you would with installing spring twist or kinky twist. I would never selected an actual crochet hair style specifically because I could have did that myself my daughter is the manager at Beauty Secret so I get a good discounted rate on everything. If you could somehow see it to possibly give me back some of my money. I'm a single mother I don't have money to waste and at this time it seem that I just gave away $150. I would hope that you could understand that I'm a dissatisfied customer and you shouldn't be ok with that hopefully you can understand where I am coming from. I asked for Goddess braids. My hair was done Tuesday, Today is Thursday. It looks a mess. She was late, on the phone the entire time And she's The owner, she didn't put anything on it as she was braiding except the edges BEFORE she started. My hair is frizzy , a Mess! I leave town in the morning, so I HAve no time to find, or pay someone else to redo it. TOTALLY DISSAPOINTED.

The worst shop ever. The owner is a liar she said they would be able to do the braids I originally asked for (stitch braids) and that was not true.. So I asked her to give me some simple neat braids that she would wear for herself. I'm mad that this poor job was 70 dollars.

FIRST OF ALL U HAVE TO PAY FIRST!!!!!!!!! Ok this here review is the Business!!!!!!, Real TRUTH Please take heed n notice!!!!!!!!!. Have been going there for a while and it has always been packed!! NOT any more!!!!!. I always got my hair braided by braiders there nothing from the owner Tonya. I had Tonya do my crochet because she from what I understand does the crocheting n sew in's. The crochet was just fair huge gaps n the braids that r done first to put the crochet hair in. I had to beg!!!!! Her to use all the hair!!!! Alot of my friends asked who did my hair but never commented!!!!?. I went back again crochet. I had to tac um down because they were all coming out!!!!!. I also believed there was hair left over that she didn't give back!!. Oka I went back 7/24/18 for a sew in n to see if my hunches were right. Taking a HUGE Chance due to the fact I was talking my bday trip to CALIFORNIA on 7/26/18. The French braids Again were gapping wide. When she finished Tonya got on the phone than ran out talking in her car. I couldn't ask her about any left over hair n not even say a word!!!!!. I looked in her glass case n saw what looked like a bundle of my hair I BOUGHT!!!!!!!!!. Well I just left because what else was I to do she was on the phone in her car. I rushed to Walmart to grab some tooth orgel  to relieve the horrible pain from her pulling the thread o soooooo very tight. Got home 45m away went thru my hair realizing she only used 1 of the 3 bundles 3 different LENGTHS for the boob hair style. Halving still much to do to prepare for my trip I called her. Tonya did I have any hair left? She says she used it all. I. Sooooo mad I said ok!!!. Was 2 upset with her to go back to her shop to comfort her. When on 2 CALIFORNIA my friends daughters questioned me on whom did my hair. I was so upset and embarrassed I told them the (this) story. They offered 2 redo it. They HAD 2 TAKE IT ALL DOWN. As they!!!! Said #some kitchen hair doing ladies# had 2 redo it. Confirming all the 3, and 3 different LENGTHS were NOT USED!!!!!!!!!!!. When the lovely young LADIES finished there was even hair left. N the tracks were even smaller. Confirming she kept my expensive!!!!!!!!! Hair. 2 me this makes her a thief n a lyer!!!!!!!. Muct have been why no 1 was there waiting for any type of service after me being there 3 hrs n some. Have other clients got hip??? Like me. I got my confirmation!!!!!!!!!. The cost was $80 UPFRONT Per her demand posted all over. Plus a 20% tip. When the cost should a been .10 cents.
If u wanna horrible hair do, if you wanna get ripped off and lied 2, sat n dirty conditions go to exotic hair braiding. EXOIT is bout right. PLEASE BEWARE DO NOT GO THERE. I WILL Also sent a cc to the BBB.

Awesome Owner Sonya...and the rest of the staff really makes the environment very warm and inviting....I suffer from a hair condition and always felt embarrassed and emotional about it..but no one at this salon made me feel bad..and that's important, because everybody needs vary..and Sonya and her staff always managed to definitely make the mark..
Five stars? They need 5 more!
It's so hard in this business..but this salon is
