The only reason I'm giving so many stars is because the vibe was good and our tech was very thoughtful about keeping my mother and I together so we could visit. The quality of service was not good, let alone for $75 and a proper unearned tip included. I tried dip nails for the first time and they look nice until you take a longer, closer look. It still feels like I have wax caps on my hands and bothered me enough to wake me up through the night. I spent twice as long cleaning these up myself as it took to have them done, including scraping the undersides and the edges. I was immediately sent out the door without any lotion, clean up, massage, or aftercare besides cuticle oil which couldn't get to my cuticles due to the poor dip job, too, which was said to be included in the service. I work in a bar also, so I've washed my hands at least 20 times since getting these done and they haven't cleaned up that way either.

I know I look young and most people don't think I will tip well, but I do, even if I can't necessarily afford it. I haven't had my nails done in three years because before now, I couldn't afford the luxury. That being said, it's your job to earn my business back and care enough to give me a good experience in the first place. I won't be returning after realizing what a poor job was done. And I hope at least someone takes away the importance of doing a good job the first time, no matter how you profile your customer. I might just be a stubborn, old man on the inside, but I'm brand loyal to the end-- all you have to do is try.

I spent $100 on a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The tech didn't even do the bare minimum - no cuticle soaking or trim on either fingers or toes.  I asked for a square shape multiple times and she still rounded the corners.

I had to go there bc I didn't manage my time well. I had a wedding to attend and didn't call my regular place on time. They were full and I needed to go use Nail Envy. NEVER AGAIN. I told the woman I was in a car wreck and this was my first pedi since, to please be careful with my still broken leg/foot. She was not careful. So much hurty! The entire process took about 11 minutes. Y'all. Then when she asked if I liked it, I said "not really, there are unpainted parts." She interrupted me and said "ok thanks" and walked away. I did NOT tip and I paid with cash. I l ALWAYS tip, guys. Always. Got home and sure enough, the paint job is patchy at best. Next day, I can tell I have an infection on my right big toe...same foot/leg that's broken. Gotta get into my doc to make sure nothing bad comes of it.

Don't go here, y'all. Just don't. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Update: The pictures below were from my visit to the Legends location.
I went to another Nail Salon to learn because I didn't have a proper fill, water was able to get under my nails and caused fungus to grow.

Went to Nail Envy at the Legends location today, 5/18/2023 for a fill. I was seated with the oldest male there.
My pinky nail was lifting, normally when a nail is lifting, the nail is either filed or cut. The nail tech used a very small amount of nail acrylic powder to cover the lifting nail.
I said, hey you didn't fix the nail as he mumbled something and proceed to complete the fill.
After running the drill over my cuticles,  I told him to stop. I told him, there is no way this fill will last two week and he's hurting my finger.

I'be been there numerous times before and never had a bad experience.
So, if you get acrylic nails and you see the older guy with glasses standing before you, run.
He must screw-up regularly because one of the other tech, said, several time, don't you forget the color number you hear me!

Sincerely,
Angry School Teacher
