I'll try to abbreviate this story.  I had been going to European Skin Care for pedicures for three years.  On at least three occasions according to the "manager" the nail tech noted her concerns about my using a harsh shaver for callous issues.  One time I cut my feet very badly using this shaver at home and when I went to the salon, the nail tech told me that I should not use the shaver again (I did not use it after that) and yet, with open wounds (I am a diabetic and I stated that from the onset of my regular visits) instead of saying well I need to reschedule you when these heal and you need to see a podiatrist as well, she did my pedicure.  There was not an issue with my pedicures until, this new nail inexperienced and visibly uncomfortable nail tech started telling me about the problems with my feet which the prior tech never mentioned.  She recommended I see I podiatrist before booking any more appointments.  Ok that was fine, but it was not fine for the previous tech to lie and say she told the same thing.  If the condition of my feet as a result of the harsh shaver were such, then why did European Skin Care book me out for an entire six months without recommending a podiatrist? The "manager" who is riddled with so many contradictions in her retelling of these concerns to me could never answer the question. The "manager" is a hot mess and her nail techs are just as unprofessional as she is.  Suddenly, the "head" nail tech claimed to overhear the nail tech who gave me a pedicure for three years tell me to see a podiatrist, but how could she? That nail tech talks incessantly about her life and that is all people hear. She goes on ad nauseum about her personal life to her clients for all to hear.   I never heard back from the owner of European Skin Care.  But, he will hear from the state board of Cosmetology concerning his nail techs continue to perform pedicures on diabetics when they claim they have informed the person that she should seek medical care.  If European Skin Care was that concerned about my well being, why did they continue to book me and take my money.  I am owed 200 dollars including tips.  This place gossips about their clients too much.  This "manager" is not a very good one.  She should have spoken to me and the nail techs together so that she would not be confused.   When asked if I liked my pedicures leaving all that was said about me out, I said no.  Why would a professional place take the money of a client if they were concerned about the health of her feet? and why would the nail tech perform a pedicure on clear open wounds? These are questions the "manager" couldn't answer.  These are questions that the previous nail tech dodged so when all is said and done, they can answer the State Board of Cosmetology's questions.
