Elite Nails in Roseville, MN

Called made an appt. Got there and was told 25 min wait with an appt. SMH not the first time this has happened. Also not the best quality work.

I got a gel manicure. We made an appointment for three people, but they had clearly overcommitted themselves because they didn't have enough staff for all of us and the walk ins. Therefore we ended up waiting around for almost an hour. When it came time for me, the lady rushed and nicked my finger with the drill bit. (You can reference the photo below.) She then proceeded to use paint my nails and use the tools with my finger actively bleeding. The tools were NOT clean so I had to ask her to stop and find an alcohol wipe to clean it off and wait for the bleeding to stop. She then proceeded to use the same tools on the next customer without sterilizing them or switching them out, etc. she was nice and apologized for accidentally nicking me. But the overall lack of cleanliness is not acceptable.

My friend and I went in for pedicures. We got the exact same service with all of the same features. His pedicure lasted an hour. Mine was over in half an hour. If we got the same thing, at the same price, how was the time this different? The Nail Tech was very clearly trying to upsell and get more money. She said to get the Pearl Spa pedicure because it had a longer massage, then didn't follow through. I will not be coming back.

Nice manicures once you get in. Three times we've made appointments only to wait for 30-45 mins upon arrival. We make 2 appointments for one time slot and end going back to back every time we've been here. So, plan about 3 times the amount of time at this nail salon compared to other salons.

Overall experience: Made an appointment for a gel mani/pedi right at opening and the salon was understaffed but fully booked. The owner or manager decided to start my manicure and was clearly stressed about the situation, and was trying to rush through my service. She wasn't paying attention and she cut me three times while trying to remove my cuticles. The last one hurt so bad and my finger wouldn't stop bleeding, so we had to pause the service. After washing my hands/cut (no alcohol was used to sanitize it), the cut finally slowed bleeding down enough so that she could put a bandaid on it. She then resumed to rush through the gel application. I ultimately didn't have to pay bc I was crying from the pain and said I didn't want to get a pedicure anymore. Observations about the salon: dirty manicure countertops and cuticle tools were not sterile or sanitized.
