My first time at this salon was terrific. Timely and friendly check in and out. Wendy is an experienced and excellent stylist. My cut and color were perfect. Highly recommend this salon and ask for Wendy.
Came here one day just to get an idea of how much it would be to get my hair done cause I needed a lot of work (roots touched up, I had and orange and pink band in my hair that I needed gone, and a haircut). The front desk lady was very friendly and there was a stylist standing there with her so that was helpful too. They gave me a price range of around $150-$200 which I thought was really cheap for how much work my hair would be. I booked an appointment and got in next week. My stylist was Krysta and she was awesome! Very friendly, went easy on my damaged hair, my hair ended up taking 3 hours but she was very patient even though I was there 20 minutes after close. My hair turned out great and it was only $158!
I've only ever used Tracy at City Looks, but I've used her for years. Now, in full disclosure, I've never had a hair cut there, but she is my GO TO for hair extensions (PINK!). The front desk staff and Tracy have AMAZING customer service, and I've been super happy there. Very clean, nice salon and I drive all the way from South St. Paul to consistently go here. Thank you, City Looks!
I wish I could give negative stars. I was looking for a new hair salon to call home. My stylist not only did not listen to what I was looking for as far as color. The pictures I showed her were not enough, she kept trying to show me swatches of color instead of looking at the pictures. The haircut I wanted was a simple one, just straight across and ended up to be multi-level and not in a good way. Then I left the store with a wet head! I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I will not recommend this salon to anyone.
