Why is yelp showing old reviews from 2-3 years ago and rexent excellent reviews are hidden an " not recommended"? Doesn't seem to be fair!
I took my daughter to the Salon portion of the business and she requested her hair to be dyed like the picture attached.. what she got was not at all what she purchased. (See pictures) She wanted the ends blonde and her whole hair ended up a lighter color. Her hair was left with a reddish pink tint the next day. She paid around $100.00 plus. Even after showing the stylist the picture of what exactly she wanted it turned out like nothing similar. Extremely disappointed.
We called to complain as she was sixteen and using her Christmas money for this appointment... the owners response was her hair was thick and should have cost more. After 20 minutes of back and forth she agreed to refund $35.00 dollars off the total.
Terrible experience and we will not be back. If she wouldn't have gotten the refund I would have left 1 star.
Had one of the best facials I have ever had at Eden Day Spa today. I am from NJ and my favorite place of all time in NJ is Depasquale in Morris Plains- Depasquale is fairly upscale and the aestheticians are the best of the best- def in the state- so I am very aware of what a perfect facial should be like. Diane did my facial at Eden and I have to say that it was one of the best facials I have ever had. She was so very friendly and made me feel welcome and relaxed almost immediately. The facial was expertly executed and I felt extremely serene and calm the entire time. What a beautiful experience! The friends that I went with said that I was glowing afterwards - and I sure felt that way too! Highly recommend- it is worth the trip while you are in OBX.
Terrible terrible terrible customer service You could not pay me to go back to this place. The customer service was absolutely absurd. I came in for a manicure the Woman who did my nails (who come to find out is the owner) did not soak my fingers they did not clip my fingernails. Filed my nails to non-matching shapes and that's not even the worst part I had gotten a gel manicure and they got it all over my fingers and cuticles and left it there!!!!! And there were naked spots on my nails. Obviously unsatisfied I asked to have it redone the next day as 4 of my nails peeled off that day!!! And they refused saying they had agent the manicurist home because I was late to the appointment (witch by the way I called to let them know and they told me this was no problem) I requested to have my nails removed as they where so bad looking and the man running the counter had the audacity to tell me there was a fee for this service. I was refunded but I will NEVER EVER step foot in this establishment again at ANY LOCATION
