I am not going to mention the stylist that I worked with. After the pandemic, the stylist I was working with started double booking, I would sit with color and highlights on my hair for45 minutes to an hour while she took another haircut. She would not even come back to check how my highlights were processing. And my stylist was so rushed, that I would come back to a chair full of the other persons hair. After almost a year my hair was so damaged. my bangs broke off where the highlights were put in. I requested with scheduling that they not double book and I spoke with my stylist about it and they just kept doing it. It has taken me almost a year to grow my hair back. The owners of the salon should not allow their stylist to double book. Ruins your hair, and you sit there for three hours.

I have been going to Ecco for years and recently had a haircut with Shelly and I will forever only go to her. She is great. Always listens to what I want, gives an excellent shampoo experience, and I always leave super happy with my haircut (I don't do color). If it's your first time going to Ecco for a haircut, go to Shelly, you won't be disappointed!!
I've been to the salon several times for haircuts which ranged from not so great to great based on the person I saw. I don't have the luxury of time and money to get my hair done in a salon every 8 weeks but wanted to treat myself. Recently, I went in to get my hair colored and left feeling disappointed and embarrassed as I was shamed for coloring my hair at home. No one likes to feel judged for their personal decisions. I try not to criticize but I need to speak up this time. There are some professionals at this salon and there are not.
I'm new to the area and needed a trim for an updated professional headshot. I chose an Aveda salon because I've always had good luck with their haircuts and to be safe I requested someone at least mid-level experience wise. Got someone with 3 years experience. I went from growing out my bangs to that entire side of my head having a layer cut to the length of my bangs and a gap to the longer layers (see photo). Super disappointed as I told the receptionist about the headshot, don't know why I was paired with a junior stylist. No way to fix it unless I get a super short bob so guess I'll be growing out for a long time :(
