Donnal's Hair Design Inc in St. Louis, MO

I was hesitant to write a review because I don't like to speak unkindly about someone but my experience with Donnal was bad enough that I feel I should share what happened. I went to Donnal with long hair that needed trimmed. During my consultation he told me how beautiful and healthy my hair was and that he would "clean it up". During the time he was cutting my hair he talked incessantly about everything except my hair. I guess he got distracted because he cut my hair into a mullet. The disconnect between the sides and the back is extreme, this haircut is impossible to style. When I called Donnal the following day to ask what could be done to fix the problem his wife had me on speaker telling me it was a good cut...Donnal wouldn't talk to me. I cannot recommend Donnal.

When my sons sat me down to telI me I needed a new hairstylist I was very surprised - a new what??? I was surprised, but I listened. I thought of a friend whose hair cuts were always so well done. She went to Donnal.  I've now been with Donnal for a couple of years and have never had so many complements. My hair is easy to care for and always falls into place. To my sons: thanks, guys!

Simply the best colorist and stylist Ever.  He is a talented artist that makes your hair a ten.

I NEVER write reviews, but my experience was so exceptional that I had to leave a review!  Donnal is AMAZING!!!  I have gone to countless salons and he far exceeded all of my expectations!  Donnal gave me the best color and haircut that I've ever had!!  He was so thorough and I cannot say enough about his professionalism!!  I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is looking for a true professional and someone who truly cares about the integrity of your hair!!  My look is just awesome and I left his salon feeling more confident than ever!!  Thanks again Donnal...he is not cheap, but worth every dollar!!!

I can't articulate into words the talent that embodies Donnal Chung. Different, yes. Controversial in his reputation, for sure. But that's part of his magic. In my opinion, his talent, attention to detail, and vision are unmatched. He's a true artist that can instantly envision your best potential and will work to get you there, if you are brave enough to trust him to do his thing. He's always one or two steps ahead thinking about the next cut while he's doing the current cut.  He's an absolute perfectionist in his work and a brilliant artist
