I went to this salon today. Terrible service and communication! The owner only speaks spanish for the most part as well. First, the prices are not posted anywhere online or in the salon, and the owner herself said she finds it disrespectful/tacky when people ask for prices before coming in, which made no sense until I realized why she functions like that. This salon is in a bad area to begin with, but they will charge you $80 for a haircut like the upscale salons in Verona and Montclair except you will not get nowhere near the experience of those upscale salons because this salon is not in a nice area and the salon itself is not the prettiest. A single process hair color is $140. The owner has terrible communication. I asked for a glaze and haircut to make my hair all around dark expresso brown which is my natural color and I have gotten glazes in the past multiple times so I know what to ask for. Instead of telling me that she was not capable of making my balayage look dark brown with a glaze alone (semi-permanent process), she went ahead and did a PERMANENT single process hair color service WITHOUT my permission. She did a treatment as well WITHOUT my permission. Extra services without my permission. I typically pay max 120-130 for a glaze and haircut. My total was 240 because she did what she wanted to do, not what I asked. Now my hair is permanently processed against my will. DO NOT GO HERE. Prices are higher or the same as the nice salons in the nice areas, so just go to those salons instead like The ROOM Verona or Hilights Salon in Lyndhurst. My hair came out nice, but I could have gotten the same results with just a glaze semi-permanent process at another salon for a better price and better experience both environment and people wise.

Excellent service. The salon is always clean and the stylists well put together. The prices are reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for.
