Divine Salon in Woodland Hills, CA

Jeanie couldn't do the simplest things, like evening out the ends of my hair (she left one side of my hair longer than the other, and refuses to fix it). She said she ran out of time to finish cutting my hair on the first day, told me to come back another day if I wanted to finish my original haircut but still charged me full price up front  + she helped herself to a 30% tip (even though I only told her 15%).  And when I came back the second day like she had scheduled with me, she still wouldn't fix her mistakes and she pushed me out of the salon in order to help another customer instead of me. She refuses to give me a refund or a partial refund for her unfinished services. The least she can do is refund the tip she took upon herself to double without telling me.  Whenever I wanted to talk about hair, she kept repeatedly interrupting me to talk about karma and numerology, and a few other things. I don't mind listening to other people talk about what they believe in...but she became a boundary crosser when she ignored me politely telling her that I didn't believe in these things, & she kept telling me that I should believe her when she says those things because they were going to happen.  I feel like she focused too much energy on trying to change my beliefs (or just talking too much in general), rather than to focus all that energy on just cutting my hair properly.

We just moved to LA and I was lucky enough to find this gem of a salon and of course it's owner Jeannie. Not only is she very good at what she does but, she will guarantee her work. I absolutely love going in to get my color and cut by her. I highly recommend her.

I got my hair shampooed, conditioned, and massaged by Jeanie's coworker Amelia yesterday and I was so relaxed. I also got my haircut from Jeanie yesterday and she gave me exactly what I wanted. The same hairstyle as I got last time I saw her. I recommend this salon.

I met Jeannie for the first time 2 weeks ago at a referral from a trusted friend. I had a great experience. The shop is so comfortable with good energy. I love the antiques. As far as my hair I am so happy. It is hard to try someone new, but I will definitely return. Thank you Jeannie see you soon

I randomly picked this salon - because of a fashion emergency! I am a fashion model and actress - I have to always look good - new to the area I had no clue who would color and cut my hair. For me my color and cut has to be "camera ready". Easy to work with on set, with a luminous color. Luck was on my side when I sat in Rachel Eskayo's chair. WOW. She IS my hair goddess - I told her wherever she goes I will follow! In fact I even had the pleasure of her presence on two fashion photo shoots. What a natural! Our relationship is going strong 1 1/2 years later ... forever more!
