The stylists are experienced and well-trained, the problem did not lie there. The problem was that it was way over-priced and she did not do what I asked. I came in for a cut and color. I brought photos of the color design that I wanted and explained what I wanted. The stylist thought the color I was after would not be a good fit for my skin-tone which I could understand, so I let her take the reigns with the color and choose one that was better suited for me, that I'm fine with. However, I showed her photos of the style of color I wanted as well as explained what I liked about that style and what exactly I wanted. She did not at all apply the color in that style. It was not even close to what I had showed her. For this I feel there is no excuse. The photos were very clear in what I wanted it to look like and it looks nothing like that. I could tell too that as it was being done she was talking it up like she realized it was not what I asked for and was trying to convince me how good this looks. So I ended up with something completely different than what I wanted, this process took 4+ hours, and then at the end of it they said they were giving me all these discounts but the price was still crazy high. It's not okay to do whatever they think is best when a client asks for something specific. I know I should have addressed the issue right then and said this is not what I asked for, but by this time I just wanted out of there and was so in shock/upset that I couldn't confront it right then. I honestly feel I was taken advantage of and now I am out a good chunk of money for hair that I am not happy with. Now it would also be very expensive for me to have it fixed. I will never go back and would not recommend this salon.
