This nail salon is in the mall and the only reason i went there was because my usual nail salon had a very long wait. when i arrived the only nail colors they put out are the dip ones. (which are more expensive) AND they don't tell you it's dip powder until you have already sat down. the woman i got cared very little about my nails. didn't cut my cuticles. left my other nail polish on around my nails. She also cut my finger open. not only did she blame me for it happening she poured alcohol in it 5 times and kept trying to convince me it was my fault. She didn't apologize of provide a discount for her literally cutting my finger open. she just kept going and didn't care how my nails ended up. it's a week later and my DIP POWDER WHICH SHE TOLD ME WOULD LAST VERY LONG has already chipped. this place is a scam and a joke. i'm upset the woman didn't even say sorry. i will never be returning
I went in to get my nails done for my nephews wedding, a day later the manicure had come off 5 of my nails, so I went back in and asked them to re-do the polish. While I was there, I was told I should get gel polish next time. The next day (the day of the wedding), this is what my nails looked like by the end of the night. I paid $22 for this...
I walked into Yelp's #1 nail salon in the area & there was 1-1/2 + hour wait @ 5pm on a Saturday!! (I've been this #1 nail place according to yelp & had a bad experience.) So, I wasn't heart-broken when I walked out immediately. I knew there was one in the mall so I headed there. Here: No wait! Quick, efficient, & enjoyable. 4.5 ! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it seemed slightly dirty/messy (like they just got done w/ a huge rush), they had the cartoon Tom & Jerry on TV, & I wished the nail tech had spent a little more time massaging my feet & ankle area not 100% my legs. Clearly I'm being nit-picky. This place was also less expensive than the other place I walked out of. Win-win! I'll be back!!
Unfortunaly I'm not happy with my pedicure I got last week. While the store was being remodeled my daughter and I had pedi's. An older gentleman was doing my feet while he was also working and talking with his colleague about the strategy of fixing his new box for his tolls and stuff. So half the time his focus was on that. The nail clipping wasn't great, the gel polish was even worse. After a few days my edges of my nails hurt because they didn't take time to work properly on them. Also I got a wound from getting a pedicure. Also, designer nails and designer's nails are both he same place! Not happy and for two pedicures I had to pay almost a 100 bucks. Way overpriced and not happy with the result.
So this was the weekend before I graduated school. I got my friend Jose to go with me. I was with another friend too but she already had gotten hers done the day before so she waited. This was on the 23rd of Sept. I don't know the guys name that did my nails or the guy who did my toes but I know they are brothers and the one who did my toes is in the navy? The lady who was doing Joses toes was cool too. They were both very funny and entertaining. She told Jose he had soft feet. they both took their time and did a really good job. It's not often I go somewhere where they actually take their time and do a good job so I was very pleased with that. Then my guy handed me off to his brother to do my nails and he did a good job as well. We had great conversation as well. He was quick but not too quick. I enjoyed talking with both of them and if I'm ever in OH again I definitely would love to come back and see them. My nails and toes lasted a long time too! Thank you so much! Go here if you get the chance! The other nail place in the mall isn't that great!
