Deka Lash - Norman in Norman, OK

Deka lash in general is not great. Looks cute. Sweet girls. Got my brows laminated in Yukon, but the Yukon branch deleted their yelp after burning a girls eyebrows off. I tried it anyways because I had a Groupon. My brows didn't get wet 48 hours. The process still didn't work. Sad because it was for my birthday. I've been looking forward to it for months and then it didn't even work. I have small brows, not thick. Don't bother w lamination at any Deka.

I went into Deka in Yukon and the Young technician guided me to remove my eye make up with their product at the sink. I had an immediate reaction to this product that is branded with Deka. My eyes immediately turned red, bloodshot, burning on fire, and Haze covered my eyes. My technician asked her coworker. If her coworker had ever had an experience and her coworker said that this particular product irritates her eyes as well. She was very apologetic and kind. We had to immediately flush and rinse my eyes and nothing was working. After trying everything we could I ended up canceling my appointment and barely made it home because of my vision and the burning. When I got home I sent my technician a text message asking for the ingredients of the product because I was going to have to have an emergency eye doctor visit and I also wanted to know how the owner wanted me to handle that visit to my eye doctor and my technician indicated that the manager was on the phone with the owner and that someone would be getting back with me ASAP. Not one person has called me or reached out to me in four hours and I think this is horrific customer experience. To not even have a little bit of humanitarianism to reach out and check on me. I am sure that the Young technician showed the images to the owner and to the store manager because they were offering me free services but no one has reached out what kind of human being doesn't have enough compassion to reach out and see if someone's OK are they that worried that there's gonna be a lawsuit or a situation that we have forgotten what it's like to be a human being and care about somebody and that's what makes me angry about this entire experience. Everybody has different reactions to products, and I understand that but the lack of humanism in this whole experience is infuriating and I am sharing my experience with everyone. I will not go back to this place and I will share my personal opinions and my personal experience with everyone that I come in contact with about how the leadership of this organization handled this situation I would not recommend this business in my personal opinion.

I got the true Xpress lashes which are supposed to take half the time. The lady I got took an hour and 45 minutes.... The entire process was very uncomfortable and she put way too much glue so when I open my eyes they were completely bloodshot. Not even 20 minutes after I walked out the door I had a lash fall out. It's the next morning I haven't used any water on my lashes and more have fallen out. The fake lashes are glued so far up my lashes that you can tell they're fake. It looks like they're already grown out. I wouldn't waste your time or money. This place is like the McDonald's for eyelash extensions

Absolutely horrible customer service at the Norman location. A Master lash tech finished my eyelashes and I literally had a field goal sized hole on one side and she irritated I pointed it out.

I've had to wait longer than 15 mins for someone to help me while waiting for a scheduled appointment and customers are expected to wait for that, but you can't show up a smidge late for an expensive service without being turned away by an incompetent teenager with the lack of empathy or care towards growing business or making someone's day better.

Do not come here. Find a real lash technician who will treat you better and understands how to treat someone with respect. Because it should go both ways.
