So friendly, speak English well, they bring you snacks and drinks. I love to relax and they do not poke you with sharp things and use cheese graters on your feet! So I can totally chill without worry of injury. Love this place. Regular manicures will last a good week and gel lasts til you take it off.

I normally don't get my nails done. I don't have time. I'm VERY particular and most of the time it's a waste of money for me bc I am a licensed cosmetologist and I can polish my own nails better than most people can polish my nails. I'm VERY picky. I was given a gift card to Filed Nails Spa for my birthday so my daughters and I went today. They didn't have an immediate opening so we made an appointment, ran some errands and returned. They were amazing. We had pretzels and sipped on Dr. Pepper and water while we were pampered. Helen polished my nails to perfection. I will return to see her when this gel polish grows out.
I feel really bad about leaving a less than stellar review. The woman doing my nails dropped the polish bottle which then got all over both my top and pants, which is honestly totally fine!! I drop things all the time, it happens and I get it. I'm just a little miffed that no one really said anything. I even asked if they knew of anything I could do to get the gel polish off, they just kind of said "yeah no, if it's ruined why bother." And to be fair he might not have known it happened. I'm never one to ask for or expect a discount, so I can't knock them for charging me full price, I did receive the service after all. I just feel like at the very very least, they could have decided not to charge me the additional $5 they charged to take off the nail polish i walked in with. My nails look good, I just feel a little meh about the whole experience.
I tell everyone about Filed. Yen and Lee are incredible and if you have the time to make an appointment -go with them! I've been going here for about 4 years now. Not once have I been disappointed. They are able to do some amazing nail art if that's your thing. You can also go in and show them a picture and trust your nails will come out exactly as you want them. Best nail salon in the metro!
