If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service was awful. Main person scared away every customer that walked through the door. Never coming back. Don't waste your time and money.
So disappointed with the customer service here. I scheduled a 10am pedicure weeks ago and got this text from curbar an hour before my appt today. If their business hours have changed, that's news to me and the rest of the internet considering online it says open 10-6. No apology, no explanation. Based on other reviews I understand they may be understaffed, but this is no way to communicate with a customer.
They had the worst service and attitude. They said they didn't know how to do a French but we were already well into the Mani. It was a day before my wedding so I had to leave and go to another salon. They didn't know what "a pink & white French" that's a standard request right?
They also made me feel super uncomfortable and guilty for the request. And surprised that I wouldn't just choose another color. It's a day before my wedding, it wasn't a normal week where a different color would cut it.
I will never come back. Please save your money and skip.
Also, the cuticle trim they did was subpar. My hands looked better before I came in.
I also can't get over how uncomfortable they made me feel. Where is the customer service? I was so polite and it seemed that any comment I made just ticked off the attendant. I was on the verge of tears.
To the initial time of making the appointment to a few days after nothing but disappointment. When I called to make the appointment they said they were completely booked all day, because I had already parked I walked in. The woman sitting in the front was hunched over a pillow on her lap, she turned her head towards me and asked "Do I have a question" no smile, no welcome, no how can I help you. Completely unprofessional right off the bat. She surprisingly was able to take me right away. She did my toes in silence not offering any of the amenities that I'm pretty sure they had available for being a high end nail place, water, tea etc.
I paid $65 for this pedicure. Once I got home I realized that she had missed the edges and that you could completely see through the paint, there was not enough coats. I was so disappointed and had paid so much money that I decided to go back. I went back the next day and sure enough she was sitting there, again hunched over her pillow. I showed her my toes and she said that she was busy for the next three days and was not able to fix them. I told her that I was not OK with that answer. I asked her if she thought they looked good and she responded "no they don't look good but she always only does two coats". I told her that this color might need more coats and I asked her to fix it nicely. She said she would be able to do just the big toes at that moment because her next client wasn't coming in for 15 minutes. I wish she had said that right off the bat instead of going back-and-forth with me for five minutes. This is the final product. My nail is so thin now that it broke in two different places. Plus there is still is not enough coats. Not sure why this place charges so much, 100% not worth it at all!
The quality of service has significantly gone down recently especially because of staffing issues. A few times during my recent visits, there is only one nail attendant because the other staff didn't show up to work or called out. Given the frequent occurrence of understaffing, they need to space out appointments and allow 2 hrs for mani/pedi.
During my last visit, the nail attendant couldn't even finish my manicure but still charged me for almost a full manicure. I had to go to another salon to get the manicure completed so I ended up paying twice. As such, I will not be returning to this salon and will be searching for a new one.
