David is truly an amazing and professional artist. His attention to detail and technique is that of a master. He always provides his undivided attention to your service and doesn't just walk off and ignore you while you process. I am always extremely satisfied with my hair. David always takes the time to consult with me before my service to fully understand what I am wanting. He truly cares about you and your hair.

David has an online booking service that makes scheduling an appointment so easy (I recommend booking with David at the end of your service). He also sends a text message reminder of you appointment a couple of days prior (which is super helpful).

Wow, what a professional.  I was looking for someone who is familiar with Asian hair, and I saw the one review for David.  I figured it was worth a shot.  It was easy to book online as a new client.

David really gives you his undivided attention (his apprentice and him seem to have a strong partnership and the apprentice didn't do 90% of the labor, as I've seen with other upscale stylists).  He sought to understand what I liked about my hair, what I didn't like, and what I liked about the style that I was requesting.  He doesn't just nod his head to whatever you ask for if he has expertise to offer that will guide you in a better direction.  I for one appreciate that!  

Not only is David careful, methodical, and skilled, but he is a great person to top it all off.  I have never been one to be good about regular trims and touch ups, but I really trust David, and I can't wait to get my hair trimmed up by him in a few weeks.

He has as we call it back home--the growing hand!  He won't do your hair dirty. :)

I have been searching for someone who knows how to work with and cut Asian hair for a few months now. I stumbled upon David's Instagram profile and was amazed by his work. I booked an appointment and, like the previous reviewer stated, he is a true hair artist. He knows what he's doing and is very, very good at it. He took my straight hair that was all one length and brought it back to life.

David is an artist... There is no other way to put it. I never cease to be amazed at what he can do with hair.

Watching him cut hair is like watching Edward Scissorhands. And his coloring process takes a little time -- but is more than worth it. Even when your roots grow out, you will continue to get compliments on your color because of the genius and artistry that is David.

I haven't visited him at Koa yet, but I still recommend him to people all the time.
