D2 Nails-Spa in Powell, OH

I hate to give them a bad review because they were so nice! But I don't pay prices that high for them just to be nice :/ I wore flips flops all day and/or stayed inside, so there was no reason for the polish to chip already, but the polish on my toes is already chipped on the first day of having the pedicure (maybe a couple hours later). The massage on my legs and feet was pretty much non-existent. I have paid far less at different nail salons and gotten way longer (and better) leg and foot massages. I was bummed.

This place is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. The employees were rude, my nails are crooked, they didn't get my ingrown toenail out, they have ants EVERYWHERE and there is no air conditioning. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.

I scheduled a gel polish removal. The cost is $10, which is what attracted me here along with it being very close to my house. I had never realized how close this location is to me, so I was excited thinking that I had found my go-to nail salon. Unfortunately, the experience here was disappointing and I will not be returning. When I walked in, I was asked to check in. After check in, a male staff started the gel removal. There was no introduction with his name or anything. He is a bit older and it seemed like he may not be comfortable speaking in English. What I did not like about my trip is that in the middle of working on my nails, he walked up and another woman continued on my nails. Once again, there was no introduction or any consent asked if I was okay with that. Crazy thing is that, even she did not fully finish the job and the man returned to finish them. I have never had this experience, where the tech changes so many times for a simple removal and there is pin drop silence and no conversation between the customer and tech. On the other hand, there was conversation between the two techs in a different language. The worst part of the trip was how they handled my nails. I was left with nails that are extremely rough on the surface. This is completely new for me and I have never had my nails feel so rough after polish removal.

D2 is THE place to get your nails done in Lewis Center. Their pedicures are so relaxing and everyone is friendly. They even have a drink and snack menu. I took my 84-year-old parents for pedicures and they were extremely accommodating! Mom and Dad were over the moon.

I'm new to Ohio and Powell. D2 Nails SURPASSED my expectations. Priced fairly with the rest of Powell. I brought my niece and nephew and the staff were so friendly to them. My nails came out amazing too! Not to mention, the customer service was outstanding. Right before we were going to leave a huge rain storm hit! One of the staff members walked us out with their umbrellas since we didn't bring any. This extra step was so kind and I will definitely come back!
