D Nails in Delaware, OH

want to leave zero stars. Had nails done there ... turns out I wasn't even given a full set like I was charged. my nails looked so bad I went to another salon to have it fixed where they showed me they nails were not even properly balanced. I have requested a refund and been told I need to show proof. I would say ... yes the proof is in the refund request that you have ignored/denied. I provided that shows I was in fact a customer.

I had a not so pleasant experience with a male technician last week who did my dip nails. The owners reached out to me to fix them. I went back in today and I'm very happy with my nails now. I appreciate them making it right. UPDATE: 3 days later and my nails are cracked. 3 different nails have cracks in them. Avoid this place!!!

I have never had a bad experience with D Nails. They are my favorite shop in Delaware. The staff are always very nice and accommodating- even when they don't have time for a walk-in, they are nice about it. I'm a little high maintenance, and they don't bat an eye - they do exactly what I want. For example- I like dipping powder on my nails, and I always want plastic tips for added strength, even when my natural nails are longer. No problem. Pedicures? I want baby-fresh heels on this old, dried up hag. Every Single Time they give me exactly what I want - you just have to tell them what you are looking for. I've been reading through the bad reviews on here and wondering if we're even talking about the same shop? D Nails doesn't charge extra fees for using debit cards. They do request cash tips or cashapp or venmo, because credit cards charge fees on the amount charged - which can eat up a tip. (They're happy to explain when asked). Also, they won't refuse a tip on a credit card - they are just trying to make sure their techs are taken care of without inconveniencing their customers. I think that's fair. Sometimes there is a wait. It's a small shop. While I was there yesterday, a customer came so late the guy joked with her about getting lost. It was very jovial, nobody was rude, and they took care of her without complaint - but I can see how we all play a role in keeping the machine moving timely. It's like the doctor's office - if you're late, you make the next guy late, and the next guy. Unlike the doctor's office, D Nails doesn't send you away if you're a little late. I can appreciate that. My usual wait time is about 15 minutes. The longest I've ever waited was an hour - for a walk-in (no appointment) they squeezed into the schedule. There have been times when they didn't have time for my walk-in at all that day, and they have always suggested alternative dates/times. They have never been rude to me, I have never felt rushed, and I love these guys. I have always been able to rely on the service I get at D Nails. If I had anything to complain about, it would be not always being able to walk in and get quick service - but really - whose fault is that? If I planned far enough ahead and made actual appointments, I'd have nothing to complain about at all.

I went in to get a fill in and coffin nails. I feel like they were done poorly and they are sharp square looking nails! They look horrible! I'm so mad I feel like I got robbed after getting home and getting a chance to look at them! Worst nails I've ever had!!!
