CUTS & COLORS Beauty Salon in Palmdale, CA

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Overall it was a bad experience. I had an appointment at 9am and when I arrived they told me they were busy and to come back in an hour, when I did they told me 30 minutes. From the beginning the hairdresser Mary Lu was having an attitude and pulling hair. She began putting bleach on my hair then proceeded to attend another client and then another. Finally she would come back to my hair and repeat the process. When she washed my hair she wet my shirt, stained my shirt and face!! At the end she said my hair is resistant and that's why she left the bleach on for 6 hours!!!!! Meanwhile the other ladies hair turned orange and spotted all over! They locked the doors at 7pm I still wasn't finished and they didn't open it until I paid. I had to pay $285 for purple hair! And it was falling out!!! I went the next day to get my money back and the owner Laura had an attitude saying my hair was already F****d up. And I said no your employee did that and you saw what she was doing and you did not take over or do anything! She then said she never wanted to see me again and threw the money back at me. I had to cut my hair short after growing it out for 3 years. Never go to this place !!!

LADIES DO NOT COME HERE!!! A really close friend of mine came here for a color correction. Mary Lu was the one doing her hair. SHE RUINED my friends beautiful long hair. Her hair was fried and began to fall out. On top of that she left her hair PURPLE. When my friend asked for a refund the store owner Laura had the AUDACITY to YELL AND THROW money at her! What kind of professionalism is that!!!? My friend had to cut her hair because of all the damage that was left by Mary Lu. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS OR BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT. THIS PLACE DESERVES ZERO STARS.

@'Teshi' (the lady who uploaded an "UNAUTHORIZED" picture of one of the Cuts N Colors Employee) As someone who goes to Marilu REGULARLY it annoys me that someone went to that extreme with that review. I dont know what world that person lives in where a half head bleached and a half head dyed is 100 bucks. Everyone knows that salon work especially a DYE job is not cheap. Or atleast people who know about hair. Ive literally been charged the same if not more. I also thought it was funny how someone who was clearly under an influence , and was elbowing the employee, felt sO disrespected. Since these humble employees wont defend themselves then ill do it and i dont care. Maybe you shouldnt send your underage teenager alone to pay for anything thats a good amount of money? And perhaps if you want something done cheaper, Do it yourself instead of bashing a hard working employee that doesnt speak english. ANYWAY my hair is fabulous, thanks MARILU BYE TESHI NEXT

I give -10: My daughter has gone here to get her hair done for a few years now. Never had a problem; this woman she's never had before did a HORRIBLE JOB, and charged her a $100.00 more than anything she's ever done, and my daughter has gone BLONDE! This lady picture was smiling and laughing when asked why she charged my 15 year old an UNAUTHORIZED $100.00 More than discussed; I was told she doesn't speak English and told my daughter who Speaks NO Spanish the price; $150; it was $150... But The charge ended up being $250.00!!!!!!! I called, and was told come down bring your daughter we will show you why.... They could not justify the 350. I was told call your bank then!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR!! Laura did such an amazing job! My hair has honestly never looked better! I've been getting tons of compliments. I will DEFINITELY be going back!!
