I've taken my 2 year old 3 times now and each time he is so content and distracted enough to let the stylists do his hair! He's usually squirmy but not here, he is able to watch his favorite show, suck on a lollipop and sit still while he gets a hair cut! The stylists always do a stellar job and will make sure you're satisfied with the cut before you leave.
The atmosphere is perfect for toddlers to play before and after their cut, and lots of yummy drink options and the cutest product selection from little small businesses to shop from! I'm thankful I have a place I know my kids will enjoy going to and I know we will never go anywhere else! Even if you don't live in Salem, I say it's 100% worth the drive.
My son's first hair cut ever after 8 years of growth. I was hoping the stylist would know hair, specifically curly hair. He had long curly hair and wanted to donate the hair. The only thing we asked the stylist was to keep a length to be able to put his hair in a small pony tail. She forgot and chopped off his hair very short and uneven. And then she still had to cut more just to make it look decent, so now it's nowhere close to the length we wanted. I felt so bad for my boy. He was not happy that his hair was too short. I had to say things to lighten the moment like, "Don't worry, it will grow back." This was his first experience cutting his hair and I have to say it was not good.
The stylist said if I didn't like it I didn't have to pay, but maybe she just shouldn't have charged me at all. Then I asked for product for curly hair and what she sold me does not help the curls curl.
I thought this place would be better than a barber because of the length we had to work with and wanted, but now I don't know where to go.

A little tricky to find the first time but totally cute inside. My little one is 6 and she got hair tinsel done today, totally adorable and by the time Anita was done my little was insisting she needed more tinsel which is huge cause she's kinda shy until she gets to know you. They took their time with her so she was comfortable and she got bubbles and a sucker on the way out. If she would get her hair cut I know she would come here
