Patrice was recommended to me by an associate since I was looking for someone to do my hair. I haven't had someone to do my hair in a year and it's been a challenge. I had a whole heart to heart with this woman about my struggles. There were many things wrong with my appointment but my biggest issue is that she basically packed my hair full of black beeswax. After getting home under the light, it looked like a child had done it. I texted her to let her know of the issue. She was immediately apologetic and offered to fix it. After asking for the redo date, she went MIA with no response to fix the issue. I even requested a refund for the money and she refused it. Patrice basically took my money for a crappy job and isn't trying to make it right. She doesn't know how to repair or twist properly. Big waste of over $100, and I still had to pay someone else to do my hair. I am truly disappointed and wouldn't recommend Patrice to anyone. She basically played like she cared and knew what she was doing to have me looking stupid.

The young Lady was nice, yet she over booked her self and rush through my hair, she did not cut the stray hair off my braids nor run a lighter across them, the parts in the front of my head are to big and the ends of my hair look a hot mess.

Everyone was nice and professional. Naomi realized that I bought the wrong hair and she went and exchanged it for the correct hair. She never hurt my head while braiding my hair.She even said that the first touch up was FREE!! That magnificent word...FREE! I will return.

Have gotten my hair done here several times. Friendly environment and beautiful braids. I've gotten box braids here and I love them! Highly recommend.

The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because the owner is a very nice woman who tried to make things better I just wish she had set me up with her daughter who has braided before... Any ways I Scheduled an appointment to get my hair twisted for a wedding. They quoted me one price over the phone and changed it when I got there (+$40). Also set me up with a first time braider ( I had no clue this was going to happen) that had never done twists, who was constantly on her phone and telling me that she was "surprised" that her braids were turning out ok, complaining that her fingers hurt and for me to pick a different braids next time. Long story short 5 came out within a week and had to go back 3 times (in the span of 10days) for it to be done correctly. Miss Naomi had to assist the new girl to fix my hair. Even after this "fix" within a a week I had 4 fallen out again and my hair was out of most twists be a quarter of an inch. I don't know if this is normal for them to fall out so fast. I have NEVER had braids fall out until I was at least 2 months in and even that is rare. I Was Told that I would still get a free months touch up, that was a lie. This was a horrible experience for me to venture out and try something new. I will be returning to Z Salon where the work is done right the first time and lasts for months ( so sad that they don't do Senegalese twists).
