I am beyond disappointed in my experience with cost cutters tonight. I had a 4:40 appointment for my son to get his hair cut. (This is the only place I have taken him to get his hair cut over the last two plus years, and I always give the stylist a 10-12 dollar tip.) I was running a couple minutes late, so I called and spoke to someone on the phone to let them know; I believe she said her name was Janessa. I told her I would be a couple minutes late. We walked in at 4:44. The two employees were leaning on the counter looking (more like glaring) at us. They did not greet us at all. (There were no other customers in the salon). I apologized for being a few minutes late. They did not respond, just continued to stare at us. They were visibly annoyed. Since they still did not say anything, I said, "If you don't have enough time, we can leave." One of the ladies said, "ok." At that point, we turned and left. I have never experienced rude customer service like that in my entire life. It was so uncomfortable and flat out weird. *When we got into the car, my nine year old daughter who was with said, "Why were they acting like that, Mom?" Needless to say, we won't be going back there in the future.

Honestly think I'm done with Cost Cutters after many years. I showed up 2 minutes early for a 4:30pm appointment...the 2 employees told me to wait outside and someone would get me in a minute. Waited about 10 minutes outside... I'm pretty sure they had a smoke break while someone should have been cutting my hair. After someone finally did cut my hair, they then charge $3 extra for some sort of sanitation fee. They're charging more to the paying customers because they dont have enough business. On top of it all, I get home and may back hairline is all crooked. Not a good experience and I'm not at all happy with the Kimberly location

Absolutely disappointed with the haircut I received. Side burns are more than a half inch off from being even with one another . To go along with that obvious mistake one side was blended and the other was not after one shower the mismatched sides became very noticeable. Very disappointed in the service as I walked in and even more disappointed not only with the extremely bad haircut I received, but the "stylist" said not more than five words.

Josie is the best stylist in the valley. I was a walk-in customer in 1999 and, as fate would have it, I ended up in Josie's chair. She did an amazing job and I haven't been to anyone else since. My husband finally starting going to her a few years later after every single stylist at other shops botched his hair (he hates to make appointments and plan around a stylist's schedule). Now he only goes to her, too, as do our four kids. She is great with children and adults and she has done perms, color, low/highlights, waxing, up-do's, you name it, she's hit the ball out of the park each time. I know this because of the compliments my daughter and I both get on our color/highlights and up-do's, sometimes by complete strangers. The greatest part is that their prices are so reasonable! A color by Josie costs half what it would cost anywhere else and I know Josie does as good a job, if not better. I highly recommend her!

What an experience you have been in my life Cost Cutters, my first one was years ago when I personally visited your salon in Kaukauna. Yup your highly trained stylist said," How management sent her to all these high tech stylist classes to keep her up to date on the new trends of hair styles and different hair colors and highlight techniques. Well she highlighted my hair alright. The results where nothing but the same color of my hair! She had no clue what she was doing! And she cut my hair uneven. Trust me it needed to be fixed by another stylist. You had 2 strikes. Well my heart thought I'd give you another try today. Well when you say 35 min. And I walk in great don't greet me like it kills you oh yeah and you where not even busy at 9:40 A.M. you had one customer a guy wow and I sat there for another 20 minutes while your manager not busy took her time doing nothing. She even answered the phone and had pissed off another customer because she said she was to busy. Maybe you might be doing nothing. You even shared your customers business outloud saying she swore at you I wonder why. You have no customer skills at all you smile and greet them when they walk in. I felt like I was bothering you and like an unwelcome guest. Wonder why you loose customers to Great Clips they take their time. I know you may have many talented stylist at your company but you need to get read of your lazy ones and screen the ones you hire. They give those who care a bad rap!
