Cost Cutters in Clive, IA

I have been going to this office for a few years, and overall, the cuts have been fine.
It is the service that I needs help.
When they opened following COVID, they instituted an appointment system, which worked fine to limit the number of people in at a time. However, now they have a blended appointment system. Some people set appointments, and they have walk-ins.
This past Saturday, between 12:30 and 1:00 pm, I was coming from another appointment and decided to drive by to see if they were busy. Two people were waiting, and all of the chairs were full. I decided I could wait and stopped. I was told they would get me in as soon as they could. After the second person was called back, I was next; a family of four walked in and had an appointment at 1:15 pm. No mention was made to me, but they were called back first. I decided I did not have another hour to wait. There are too many other salons within a very close distance, and I went elsewhere.
Reading other reviews, it looks like this is a repeat issue. I will take my hair elsewhere.

Worst H/C ever! Pretty sure girl cutting my hair was stoned. I told her what I wanted and she repeated what I said then apparently was so stoned completely ignored me. Who runs this place?

As a heads up, plan on scheduling your appointment through the app, but also plan on waiting.  We were a "walk in" and advised it would be about a 25 minute wait.  No problem.  We ended up waiting over an hour, received no update on our wait time, and were completely ignored/avoided.  We ended up walking out.  During our wait, about 5 customers with scheduled appointments came in but also had a delayed wait time.  It appears there are some issues managing walk-in appointments and scheduled appointments.  We've been regular customers, but won't plan on returning.

DONT GO HERE!!!The lady who did my haircut dissed my mullet. She messed up cutting my hair so it's completely uneven. And she kept nicking me with the razor. My experience was -10/10 would not recommend!

I came here on Sunday afternoon and was told there would be a short wait for an eyebrow wax. Shortly after I arrived, another client came in and was told 20 minute wait for the same service. This person said they didn't have 20 minutes to wait and was quietly told they would be called back shortly. They were called back before me and I ended up waiting over twenty minutes. If employees are going to do this, they should be  a little more discreet, the waiting area isn't large and it was easy for everyone to hear.

Line jumping not cool, will explore other options in the area.
