Color Me Crazy in Port Jervis, NY

Lindsay has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and I have always left incredibly happy. She has given me the shade of blonde I have asked for and I always have people asking me where I got it done! Then when I randomly change my mind and decide to go pink, purple or darker she's talented enough to always give me the hair I want! Although I usually keep my hair longer she has always done an amazing job when I decide to change it up add in layers! I finally got to visit the new place today and it's absolutely beautiful, welcoming and comfortable! I once again left with a new style and I'm super happy with it!

This is a review for Lindsay, she did my haircut and an eye brow wax. Her hair cutting skills are perhaps a B-, I asked for long layers, but the layers she cut were on the short side. Mainly, I would like to review her skill as an eyebrow stylist. For that she gets a definite F. She applied the wax all the way on my eyelid, and it really hurt when she pulled it off, as she pulled off some skin with it resulting in a definite injury to the sensitive skin. The next day, my eyelid is swollen. There is no reason to place the wax so low below the eyebrow. If she had realized she made a mistake by accidentally smearing the wax on the eyelid, she should have cleaned it up gently instead of pulling it off. But she obviously did not. There is no excuse for this lack of skill and knowledge. Lindsay is a co-owner of the salon, and I hope she applies her time to managing its daily operations and stays away from waxing and styling.

Always amazing! I've gotten my hair done by Lindsay for years! I'm always super happy with it! The ladies are great here and the atmosphere is nice! I definitely recommend this place!

What a great place!!!!! All staff are highly talented in their artistic gifts, creative and O. M g their expertise in coloring is Awesome!!!!! And the bonus. This salon was highly recommended by 2 different people saying the owners do a great job. I'll never know because they gave me the stylist still learning. She kept cutting the style over and over as if trying to fix the cut. As a result she cut my hair shorter than I wanted. She couldn't finish the face frame without the help of one of the owners. The cut was uneven, one side was cut oddly. If you are going to give a customer the still learning stylist you should let them know. I would have said no. And you shouldn't charge the full price for the learner cut. I gave 2 stars because she actually did a good job on the color and low lights. You have lost a loyal every 6 weeks cut and color customer.
