Coco Nails in West Orange, NJ

This is my local go-to nail salon that I highly recommend to everyone. Scheduled a pedicure and gel manicure for a Friday morning and could not be happier with the quality of the result. Asked for an ombré gel manicure when I got there and they were able to accommodate the extra request. (Ombré is $15 extra with a gel manicure) Coco nails staff always makes sure I'm comfortable and they check in with me constantly to make sure that I'm happy with their work. The salon has massage chairs for pedicures and comfortable seating for manicures. Highly recommend to locals and visitors as a reliable nail salon. Always call ahead to schedule an appointment or check for walk-in availability!

I'm the type of person who does her nails at home, but occasionally I love getting a pedicure done professionally and this is officially the only place I go to. All of the ladies who work here are so kind, sweet, and careful with their customers. I really appreciate that I don't usually have to wait too long (didn't wait at all the last two times) and that appointment times are respected. I wanted to note that they have about a 10-15 minute grace period for appointments, so make sure you're on time! The general pedicure includes a scrub, lotion, light foot massage, hot stone, and a paraffin wax treatment for your heels. It's a very inclusive pedicure experience for a great price, honestly. It is spacious and the music creates a nice relaxing vibe. I can't wait to be back :)

Soooo I'm dog sitting in this area and normally do my own nails, UV gel but didn't have my supplies so figured I'd give this place a shot. It was cute and they were really nice but the quality wasn't great. I've been getting UV gel for a few years and I've never seen them done so fast or done how they were.. there was no slip layer applied or base coat for the gel color which showed when the polish peeled off a day later.. I asked for almond shaped and the first photo is what I got, versus what I asked for, versus how my nails normally look with this so it's clear it's not my nail shape. I have pretty bad anxiety so the whole process being rushed I didn't really inspect them until I got in the car nor say anything while I was in there. Not sure if it was just the day I came or what but definitely a bit disappointed after how much it cost me.

They're extremely expensive for no reason. I've been here twice, first time they messed up my eyebrows and I'm very particular on what's being done on my face, ITS MY FACE! I asked her to fix it and she made it worse!!!! Also got a gel pedicure same day and it was $50!! I've NEVER paid so much for a gel pedi before. And it wasn't the best job. I've gotten a gel pedi for cheaper and they've done way better than this place. I decided to give them another chance with my eyebrows because I was in desperate need and she messed it up again. NEVER AGAIN!!! Customer service is fantastic but this wouldn't be my go to salon.

Owner/woman at 1st station is absolutely horrible... she's the only one who does UV gel sets/refills, has poor customer service, and rushes through the $100 gel manicures.. tried her one more time due to convenience and made a big mistake... nails fell off after 1 week.. Lotus nails in Verona is much better!
