Brianne has over 20 years of experience and is originally from San Diego. She is a down to earth chick who is really skilled in what she does. I went to 2 different stylists before her, showing pictures and asking for a "shaggy cut" with bangs that were thicker so they laid right and framed my face the right way since I have a rounder face, and no one cut my bangs the way I asked. After being referred to Brianne, I decided to take a chance at another stylist but I was starting to give up hope... that is until she quite literally blew my mind and expectations out of the water. I knew my long thick hair needed more time and she didn't rush through my cut even though we went over our time. She was extremely thorough and I get stopped pretty much everyday for the last two months and people comment,"Wow I love your cut and your bangs" "Where do you get your haircut?" "You're making me want bangs" "I think I can pull off bangs because of how great they look on you" "I'm going to ask for your cut next time I go for a new style." Can't say thank you enough for restoring my faith in a good haircut and helping me feel effortlessly confident everyday!

After parting ways with my former stylist, and a little research, I went with Austin K at Chelsea about 3
years ago. And seriously, I am so glad that I did! I have actually been trying to grow my hair out for 13 years (it grows terribly slow), and because of time spent in their chair and darling Austin's careful consideration, I think my wish is actually becoming a reality! They always have great suggestions for products but only if I ask, which is so nice. The salon is very relaxing and cute! And they sell kevin.murphy products which if you haven't tried, people, let me tell you, you are missing out! Never have I been so consistently impressed with a salon experience. Anyone would be lucky to work with Austin to achieve their hair goals!

I have finally found a hair stylist and colorist in Brianna! I have curly hair and have been having a tough time finding someone I like to cut and color my hair for a few years now. FINALLY I found Brianna at Chelsea salon. She listened and did exactly what I asked. I love this cut and color. A month in it is getting better and better and growing out great. To me that is the mark of a really good cut. If it still looks cute growing out. It is not easy to cut my hair and she did it perfectly. Perfect shape and texture. Thank you Brianna, I am so grateful to love my hair!

Highly recommend! HIGHLY recommend seeing Courtney for your hair needs. I used to work for her in San Francisco. I will never forget the first cut she gave me. I was hooked! I moved to Portland before she ended up moving here, and when I found out she moved to town, I knew I had to see her for my hair needs. I no longer cut hair at a salon, and I must say, being a previous hair stylist, I have been picky about my hair. She is incredibly talented and I am so happy we are back in the same city!

The folks at Chelsea are AMAZING! Courtney has been cutting/coloring my hair for little over a year now and I'm so lucky to have her! I can show her a photo of what I'm wanting and she'll tell me (honestly) how that look can translate, keeping in mind how it will affect the health of my hair and how intensive upkeep will be. They're always doing awesome, funky styles and put a lot of effort in to create a fun and inclusive environment. Love them!
