The chicken was cold on the inside, the overall cleanliness of the facility was questionable. Sides were awesome.

I will admit to be a BBQ snob....lived in Kansas City a long time eating BBQ 2-3 times a week and still have family there with lots of opportunities to eat  quality BBQ while visiting family, So I have a good foundation for what's good and what's bad.....and this place is bad.  I've tried it three times now, each time I walked away less impressed.  

This last Friday featured some of the fattiest beef  brisket to ever slide across the plate.  Thank goodness it was a basket or hit would have hit the floor.   They also need a better variety of sauces...what passes for sweet sauces has poor flavor and not everyone cares for the Memphis style sauce so a better variety would be nice.

It takes a lot for me to want to go to Famous Dave's but this place makes FD almost tolerable.  On the upside, funny t-shirts and nice decor .  Unfortunately, good BBQ reqiuires more than that.

Best BBQ in town, but I don't think Bar-3 or Famous Daves understand what pulled pork is.

I enjoyed my BBQ sandwich with fried okra but I wish they had a drier BBQ, I don't like tomato based BBQ sauces and I prefer to enjoy the taste of the pork with vinegar based sauces.

I'll go back and look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

We stumbled upon the Horny Moose while on our way to Big Sky and have been talking about it ever since.  The name was what drew us in, but the food and service is what will have us coming back!  We started out with the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were AWESOME!!!  The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic as were the ribs.  My kids loved the deep fried mac and cheese bites.  We left with a bottle of "Moose Juice" and a sassy T-shirt.  Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend giving it a try!!!

I came in one night with a few friends.  We asked if the kitchen was still open.  The gentleman at the register informed us that it was and asked us what we wanted.  "5 orders of Fried Snickers, please," we replied.  He walked over to the chef, came back, and told us that they had run out of batter.  

I doubt he was being truthful.  He should have simply told us that they were closing soon and that the deep fryer was being turned off and cleaned up; instead of insulting our intelligence.
