Theory Salon LLC in Charlotte, NC

This pic is after she fixed it. I feel bad giving a bad review but the stylist said twice that "this happens all the time" and said that it just sucks because it takes time to fix it. I'm not sure if she meant herself or the salon in general but it's what led me to write a review and I never write reviews. Angelica was who dyed my hair the other stylists came over to give some help after it looked like there was a line of copper and really dark roots compared to the rest of my hair. Everyone was very nice so I gave 2 stars. As a SAHM it's hard to find time to get my hair done and now I'm stuck wearing hats and headbands until I can find a person and time to get it fixed.

I have waited awhile to give this review because I wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting. I saw Clarissa the owner and brought several pictures of long bobs to her. The haircut I ended up with was very BAD version of the "Rachel"...this has literally been the worst haircut I have ever received. I went back and looked at the pictures I showed her several times just to be sure I wasn't mistaken about what I asked for, and even my friends and just acquaintances have commented about how far from what I asked for my hair is. There is literally nothing she can do to fix this...and it's going to be a VERY long wait before this grows out. I'm sure she is great for some, but did not listen to me and it's been a painful process coming to accept my new hair. I have debated about extensions and may end up getting them as everytime I look at or try to style my hair now, I cringe. I literally HATE what she did to my hair.

After moving to Charlotte, I had such a hard time finding the right salon until Darcy came into my life.  She is a gem and my hair has honestly never looked better!!!  She listens to what you want, delivers above and beyond expectations, and is also extremely honest about maintenance and products that you need.  If you are into chatting while getting done up...she is also a great person with an exceptional sense of humor.  Everyone in the salon is a joy to be around!  I would give ten stars if I could!

Kasie is the best! Looked forward to seeing her every session! We were always on the same page about what I needed done. I wouldn't have the man bun I do today if it wasn't for her  . Keep up the good work Kasie

Claire Oh Clair...what would I do without you?  I came to you with color-gone-bad and you turned it all around for good.  You are my hero!  

I seriously came to Theory after trying so many other salons in the area...some affordable, some not, some recommended, some not.  Either way, through my journey, I ended up with black hair that was practically purple.

But....wait for it.....I met Claire!!  She saved the day and restored my purple hair back to a normal color.  She isn't pushy, she isn't overly talkative, she is just cool and professional and damn good at what she does.

She is priced like everyone else in the area so no sticker shock there.  Great environment in a fun location (southend).  I HIGHLY recommend you to go to Claire for any and all of your hair needs.
