I went in for honey highlights on natural hair and a blow out. I spoke to the stylist who said he was the owner, and even showed him a photo of what I wanted.
He said "I don't need to see a photo girl, as soon as you came in here, I knew what I was going to do to you".
That comforted me and scared me at the same time but I needed to get out of the house and also wanted a pick me up so stayed and hoped he knew what he was doing.
This man used lighting powder in my hair, walked out of the salon, came back in and rushed me to the sink.
1. My highlights were not touching my roots.
2. The highlights were blonde as hell, on natural 1b hair. (He left it in too long)
3. The blow out was piss poor, he used three brands of hair spray in attempt to get the nice, silky look he knew I was going for
4. Charged me $100 (what!?), admitted the color wasn't right, and offered for me to come back the next day for me to get the color fixed
I called that night and asked for my money back, he gave back $35 and acted confused as to why I didn't go back to let him fix it.
Super nice guy, but not good with natural, curly hair.
