First and last time. So many things.. PROS You know how it's common for hair stylists to cut off waaay more than they said they would? They were only an inch off at most from what they said they would cut. CONS 1. I called the day of asking if they had any availability. They told me they had a spot an hour later (at least 2 hours before closing time). I showed up and waited another 25 minutes past what they scheduled me for before they saw me. The haircut itself took at MOST 15 minutes. 2. There was this other Korean lady there, probably a regular, who was receiving some hair perm or dye treatment. She was the reason I was waiting as they were both working on her. They treated her very well, giving her tea and walking her out, laughing and telling her to have a good day. For me, they were cold and unfriendly. I had tried to make conversation; I don't know if she just didn't hear me or chose to ignore me but either way, such an off-putting vibe to be treated SO DIFFERENTLY. 3. They didn't wash my hair, which whatever I get that they do dry cut. What really bothered me was they started straightening my hair without ANY heat protectant. Literally NO product used, not even a spritz. I could see smoke coming out from my hair. My hair is FRIED, even a shower and deep mask won't reverse the damage they caused. 4. They charged me $50 for NO WASH, NO PRODUCT, an uneven cut, and "styling" despite me not asking for a style. I feel like the curling (again with no heat protectant) was to both hide the uneven cut and for the pictures they took afterwards. Reading the other reviews, it seems you will be treated the best if you speak Korean and are a regular. If you don't speak Korean, expect poor service.

She did amazing! I just showed her some pictures and we both verbally mentioned the correct cut to be a 2 block, and she didn't need anything else and cut it perfectly! Normally, I'd have to be with a barber for three cuts to get it down right, and she literally had me out the door 30 min later with a perfect 2 block cut. I found my new barber!

I got my haircut this morning and I love it! My hair was extremely flat and super thin, but now I have a ton of volume! Plus her price is super good, I will definitely come back and recommend her to everyone! ^_^

Ask for Susie! I struggled with finding a good salon that can cut my thick Asian hair. Took a chance here and she did everything I wanted. Face frame, layers, thinning, and a U shaped cut.

I'm here to update my review-- As I said in my initial post, I come from Seattle to get my hair cut here, I like the owner Suzys' style that much. But, I won't be coming back. The last time I set an appointment for a perm here, the owner left me at the front IN THE MIDDLE OF whatever she was doing 3 TIMES to go cut someone else's hair who was a walk in. She didn't say anything to me either. Just left in the middle of doing my hair. Once, she even left me in the sink with my hair half rinsed from soap to go cut a walk-ins hair. I thought the appointment was allotted to me, but seems like it's not. I can't believe it happened 3 times during my appointment. It took me at least 4 hours to get out of there when it typically should take, like half that time. Because of the commute and my last experience, I won't be coming back and will find a hairdresser closer to my proximity with better customer service and manners! To note, I'm leaving 2 stars for this update as while my last experience was awful, I will admit that Suzy is still good at cutting hair.
